Cruise on NCL Viva I wanted to reach out and let you know that my cruise was absolutely fantastic. Thank you so much for changing my mind and suggesting I try a different cruise line; after this experience, I will never go back to Royal Caribbean! Here is a day-by-day breakdown of my trip and some thoughts on the ship: Embarkation & Day 1 Embarkation was easy and seamless. We were able to get to our cabins about an hour after boarding. My stateroom was clean, very large, and I really loved the space. That night, I had dinner at Nama, the sushi restaurant on board. The food was fantastic and the service was phenomenal. First Sea Day I spent the day at the Vibe Beach Club on Deck 17. The bartender, Frauline, and the rest of the wait staff were fantastic. I also tried the buffet on the 17th deck for breakfast and lunch. The pizza, turkey, and mac & cheese were all very good selections. Cozumel, Mexico Our first port day was in Cozumel. I walked around town and even ran into some friends at the Margaritaville just north of the port. It was a very good day. Once back on board, I had dinner at Cagney’s. The filet was absolutely fabulous. That evening, I saw the 70s show at Sid Norman’s, which was a great performance. Harvest Caye, Belize This was my favorite port day. The island was superb and all the amenities were fantastic. I had dinner in the main dining room that evening and the fish was absolutely to die for. Roatan, Honduras On our third port day, I went scuba diving, which was an absolute blast. The excursion scheduled through Norwegian Cruise Line was excellent. That night, I went to the 80s show in the Viva Theatre, which was also excellent. Costa Maya, Mexico For the last port day, I decided to stay on the ship. I had dinner at Hasuki, the hibachi restaurant, which might have been the best meal I had on the entire trip. Final Sea Day I spent my last sea day back at the Vibe Beach Club. The wait staff and the bartender I mentioned earlier truly had to be the best staff on the ship. Later that night, I went to the end-of-sailing party and had a great time! All in all, it was a great experience and I would definitely cruise with NCL again. Thanks again for the great recommendation! I’ve worked with Viking travel for several years now and Laura is absolutely the best highly recommend her !

I can't say enough about how amazing our travel agent, Becca, is! This is the second trip we've booked with her, and she consistently makes everything so smooth and easy to follow. She arranges the most incredible experiences. Our trip to Paris, including the day trip to Versailles, was absolutely fantastic. From the private airport transfer to our hotel, to the expert guides for our Versailles and Louvre tours, everything was top-notch. Becca's recommendations are always spot-on, and I've truly enjoyed having her as our travel agent. I highly recommend her for anyone planning a trip!

Mary Ann was super knowledgeable and provided wonderful guidance on booking travel to St Lucia. Her follow up was excellent and she checked in during our travel to make sure all was going as planned. This was my 2nd booking with Viking Travel and I will be booking more! Mary Ann adds a personal touch to the booking experience and it is way better than working with online sites! 🙂

Flawless trip planning and service Our recent 24 day trip to New Zealand and Australia was absolutely unforgettable, thanks to the incredible planning and service! Laura was outstanding in organizing everything. The two-week Viking cruise to New Zealand exceeded our expectations with its exceptional service and quality. The 10-day land tour of Australia arranged by Swain Travel was equally amazing, and George’s daily updates were so helpful. The pocket travel app was a fantastic touch, making our travels even smoother. Viking Travel truly delivered a seamless experience, and we wouldn’t hesitate to book with them again.

We don’t travel often, but anytime we have planned a big trip, we have used Viking travel and have had THE BEST trips! They are great at finding experiences that fit what we want to get out of our vacation and working with us to narrow down our choices and give us options that fit our hopes for our trips. Since vacation planning isn’t my thing, it is great to have their expertise to find the right things for us with no stress on our end! Our latest trip to Jackson Hole was exactly what we wanted!

We recently completed the Rocky Mountaineer trip from Vancouver to Calgary. Mary Ann from Viking provided us with a comprehensive itinerary and everything went as planned. The hotels were fabulous. Our luggage was moved for us at each stop. The Rocky Mountaineer train provided us with beautiful scenery, fantastic food and wonderful staff. It was such a unique way to view the Canadian Rockies. We had several wonderful excursions taking us to places we would have never found on our own. We met people from all over the world. It was truly a fabulous trip and wonderful experience. Highly recommend.

Laura Lukasik of Viking Travel, Westmont, IL has been planning my vacations for a decade & they've ALL BEEN WONDERFUL. My first trip to Europe was 4 days in Como, Italy & a Viking River Boat cruise up the Rhine, including Switzerland, France, Germany, the wind mills of my ancestors & Amsterdam. (5 STARS!) Then, when I needed a solo cabin, she found that Crystal Symphony was discounting 16 cabins for solo travelers from Monte Carlo to Barcelona. OMG, it was my BEST CRUISE & BEST VACATION EVER!!! I highly recommend Crystal Cruises AND Laura Lukasik...her attention to detail, her understanding of my needs & her kindness are UNPARALLELED!!!

Becca Arkins with Viking Travel was absolutely phenomenal! We traveled to Rome and Florence, Italy, in April 2025, and from the very beginning, Becca made the entire planning process effortless. From getting quotes to helping us decide where to go, she was amazing every step of the way! She answered all of our questions promptly, scheduled several phone calls to go over details, and ensured everything was perfectly organized. From the hotels she recommended to the tours and travel logistics for our large group of 11, everything went so smoothly. Best cruise thanks to Anne If you don’t read this long post, this is the most important part; Anne Volk with Viking Travel Inc is the absolute best! We found Anne by simply doing what you might be doing, an internet search trying to find a travel agent that might be able to help us plan a cruise, specifically an Alaskan cruise for us. We had never been on a cruise and didn’t know where to start and decided working with a travel agent might be the way to go. We had never worked with a travel agent before and we came across Viking Travel and the good reviews it had and began looking at the pictures of the agents and came across Anne. We picked Anne because her bio seemed to reflect the experience in travel that would help guide us, and well, she just looked incredibly friendly. If you are looking for someone to get you the best rates, the most options, to respond to your emails or phone calls promptly, and be friendly and professional then stop searching you found her! We are already looking forward to planning our next cruise and you better believe Anne is already on top of it! Now you can stop searching for a travel agent because you found the best, Anne Volk, and begin to relax and let her get to work planning your dream vacation!

Rebecca Arkins at Viking Travel provided an outstanding 5-day itinerary for a recent trip to Paris! Becca based a highly customized itinerary on a conversation and questionnaire we completed with her. I really commend her listening skills because she just "got us" and understood how we like to travel. She put us in a great hotel, in a location close to the planned activities, and consistent with the types of hotels we have enjoyed in the past. All details were thoroughly communicated to us and the app was a great in country tool! Look forward to working on future trips with Becca.

On ourr most recent adventure she put together a package for the Azores, and we truly enjoyed the destination, tours and hotels provided. The planning was seamless, and the weather was perfect. Our family of four just returned from our trip to Punta Cana planned by Becca Arkins and our experience could not have been better! This was our first time traveling internationally with our young kids and Becca helped us figure out exactly what we needed. We talked several times about what we wanted to get out of the trip, budget, locations that we were interested in, etc., and she helped us plan a perfect, stress free, family vacation. We had some weather related concerns based on our destination being in a rainy season, and Becca kept us updated and reassured the entire time.
