When I adopted a young dog who had suffered a significant injury to her mouth (a kick under her chin as a baby), I simultaneously found how few veterinary dentists practice in the US, and that Dr. Clayton had fortuitously just set up a new practice in Rhode Island. Dr. Clayton and his staff were wonderful. Dr. Clayton was very thorough at our first visit, and explained all options for Skye (her injuries included broken/dead incisors, exposed tooth roots, compromised canine tooth). All my questions were answered and after her Cone CT revealed additional abnormalities, Dr. Clayton called me and discussed options before proceeding with surgery. After the operation he sent me before and after photos of Skye's mouth. The office is beautiful and clean, the entire team was friendly and helpful, and I felt my girl was well taken care of and in good hands throughout. Highly recommend Dr. Clayton and am so glad we have a highly qualified dentist in our area.
