Ira was kind and thorough, delivering a very high quality restoration of a very old VHS that was partially corrupted from overseas. He not only was able to restore my old tape but also refined the corrupted portions back to near perfect which was a miracle, all in a very quick turnaround time. I opted for both CD and flash drive formats and both work perfect. I will definitely be coming back for all my future video needs, thank you Ira!

My dad was very emotional watching this video as it was a Christmas message from his parents living in the UK at that time, which he did not manage to watch until today! We can't say enough good things about this place! My husband found somevery dusty family camcorder tapes from 35 years ago. It's very important to recover them and transfer the files to the cloud because his parents both passed away more than 18 years ago. Mr. Goodman recovered them and transfered the files to USB, 10 hours of video recording! We finally got to listen to his parents voices (I've never met them), see their moving images, hear their laughters and confirm my boys' naughtiness came from him!! Thank you Mr. Goodman!!

I have wanted to transfer my vhs to dvd’s but didn’t know where to go. Didn’t want to chance my cherished memories through the mail. Then I found VDNJ. Ira Goodman explained all my choices and I felt safe leaving my tapes with him. I couldn’t believe how fast he was able to finish the three tapes within couple of hours that I left with him. Now I will bring 10 more to be transferred to DVD and I will have it all put on a Disc Drive as he explained to me that that was the way to go. Will definitely let friends and family know. Ira Goodman, who is the owner of Video Data Services, is a master of his craft! I brought in two old video tapes from the mid-1990’s. One had my mother during Christmastime, and another of my first cats, all sadly have passed away since the videos were taken. It is very important to get your tapes transferred and not wait like I did since mine were so old, they had mold on them. This could not be seen until he tried to transferred them and these white dots appeared. For a reasonable fee, he cleaned them both. I do not trust sending my tapes away to a center and risk not getting the tapes back, which happened to a friend of mine. I told him it was not a rush and I gave him the tapes at the end of the day on a Friday and got them back the following Tuesday. That’s a very quick turnaround! The tapes came out better than I expected and I got to see my mom once again on the only video that exists of her!

I am a returning customer. This time I had negatives of photographs that my grandfather had taken in the 1930's in Colorado. I had wanted to develop the negatives for just the family, but I had a visit to a museum in Colorado this summer and I showed a few samples to a board member. I found that the museum was interested in the photos for their website, and so I decided to move forward with the project. When I showed the negatives to the owner of the video store he explained that he was not sure if he could develop them as he did not have the right sized holder for the scanner, but he said that he would try to rig something up. A few days later the owner called me to let me know that the work had been done. After I picked them up and got home to take a look at them I was amazed and I called the owner to let him know. Everything had turned out beautifully. I am so grateful that the owner took the time to get the project done, and I the price was reasonable for the amount of time that he spent cleaning and developing the old slides. The owner is truly skilled and talented!

I had about 22 videos of various formats that needed to be transferred to digital file and DVD formats. All the videos were old and some needed to be "cleaned" (which, I think, involves a special process to remove foreign matter on the tapes) and some needed to be repaired. I needed the work done ASAP. Ira, the owner, originally said it would take about a week. I asked if he could transfer a few of them more quickly so that I (and another person who also needed to review them) could start reviewing them sooner. He said that probably he could. But what Ira ended up doing was getting the whole job done in only two days, which was unexpected and helpful to me. He said he had worked all day until midnight the previous day to get it done quickly for me. Also he was very attentive to me as a customer and to his work. The DVDs he gave me were organized and each was properly labeled in a DVD binder. I highly recommend Ira and Video Data Services.
