We recently had racking fitted in our Ford Transit and the service was great from start to finish. Booking was easy and the communication was spot on. They carried out the work on a Sunday, which helped us a lot as we were travelling up from the Isle of Wight, and didn't interfere with the running of the business.
The price was very fair, and we had a hotel stay which made the whole trip much easier. The racking looks solid and well-finished.
Would happily use them again and would recommend them to anyone needing van racking

Very impressed we sent one of our work vans down today 29/11/25 to get a bespoke van fit with a lot of extras the team took care of us made sure we were happy at every stage & even went the extra mile to ensure the quality was there. We have had over 15 vans fitted out through various companies in our local area this time we opted to travel 2 1/2 hours to van fit solutions & I have to say nothing comes close to what these boys can do. We got the BUNKER fit all in black giving it that stealth approach. What a job lads 10/10 for the craftsmanship.

I travelled 6 hours from London to get racking fitted to my van. The workers were polite, but the owner behaved very badly. He knew I came from far away, and when I arrived he changed the price to double what he originally said. Because of that, they didn’t do the job. Completely unprofessional and a waste of my time. I would not recommend this place to anyone.”

For clarity:
You arrived after being given the base pricing in advance, something we have recorded calls confirming. Once here, you decided you wanted additional work, then attempted to dictate your own pricing because you’d travelled a distance — as though that somehow entitled you to a discount we never offered.
Our team remained polite throughout, even when you raised your voice and tried to pressure them. You were reminded — more than once — to treat our staff with respect. You chose not to.
You then left, only to return shortly after with yet another “offer” of your own pricing, which again did not match our structure. At that point, you were asked to leave the premises for the second time.
Every member of staff remembers the interaction clearly. Our manager acted appropriately to protect both the team and the business from behaviour that fell well outside what we consider acceptable.
Given how the day unfolded, it’s surprising you felt comfortable posting a review — but if nothing else, it gives us the opportunity to put the facts on record.

R2 Total solutions would like to say a huge thank you to Van Fit Solutions. We were forced into buying a new van after a crash and they made the process of getting new racking very easy. The installation and workmanship is second to none. The guys took there time to go through how I wanted my racking customised. They also fitted a rubber floor to the van which stops everything sliding about. Thank you and will definitely use again and recommend the guys.
