Disgusting Rental Unit and Terrible Experience Worst rental experience I've ever had. Short version: Do NOT stay in their 77 East 3rd street location. You'll pay a high price for a "nice" studio and the reality is you'll stay in a disgusting building in a rental unit full of bugs. Long version: There is trash overflowing in the hallway right outside your door that causes a horrible smell. They will tell you they're working on it with building management but then when you ask for updates they'll say it's not their responsibility because it's not a problem within the actual rental unit. Because of the trash there are bugs all over the apartment - I had to kill multiple a day in the kitchen and bedroom. They sent over maintenance with some extra traps to put out, but since they wouldn't send a real exterminator of course it didn't solve the issue. The maintenance man told me he had been sent out to this building multiple times for bug issues and tried to bring it up with management but they won't do anything. Kateryna tries her best but when you ask for real action to be taken she'll just give excuses. I asked for any compensation because of the conditions and she refused. I was so disappointed with the condition of the apartment and how they handled things. So unprofessional.

I stayed in an Urban Furnished apartment for work for 3 months (317 East. 78th St.). The positives: the building is clean and well maintained, and easy to get into. The unit felt relatively spacious for being 430 sq ft and was comfortable with the mini split A/Cs. The large counter space was nice for cooking and eating. It was generally very quiet except when there was crazy loud construction above the unit and then crazy loud stomping when people moved in (please walk softly in apt buildings). The bed was high quality and plenty of linens were provided. TV was smart so streaming was a breeze. The cons: there was literally one hook to hang anything in the whole place (in the bathroom)--I bought Command hooks to use. There is nowhere to store shoes--thankfully brought my own hanging shoe rack. The stove was subpar--cooking was not a fun experience--too small and it didn't heat evenly. The washer/dryer was great to have, but it didn't really dry clothes and took forever, shook the whole place when it was on dry mode. The couch was very uncomfortable, so no where to really get cozy after a long day. The vacuum must have been from a dollar store - it was practically useless. All in all, a pretty good experience, especially compared to the dump of an apartment I'm in now. The host was attentive and always responded in a timely manner on Airbnb. I do hope they make some changes to make things more comfortable for a long term stays, as that is the only way to stay in a short term rental in NYC now (one month minimum). These apartments don't come cheap, so throwing a few bucks at a storage bench and wall hooks would go a long way.

Extremely disappointing experience. I rented a furnished apartment at 244 E 75th St, New York, NY, through Urban Apartments for one month. When I arrived, I was shocked by the condition of the building - the entrance and hallway were filthy and extremely outdated. The apartment was also significantly smaller than stated in the listing. One of the most frustrating issues was the access system. Entry to the apartment is only available through an app-based digital key -no physical key is provided. On several occasions, the digital key simply didn’t work, and I had to call their emergency line late at night just to get into the building. On another occasion, due to a power outage, I was completely locked out of the apartment, which ruined my plans. This was both stressful and unacceptable. The air conditioner did not cool the air - it just blew hot air and made loud noise, making it nearly impossible to sleep . The vacuum cleaner was also useless: it turned on but didn’t pick up any dirt. The bathtub drain was fully clogged. I contacted their support several times, but the response was slow and unprofessional. When I requested to be moved to another apartment, I was told all their units were fully booked. When I raised concerns about the dirt and poor conditions around the building, I was told - in a rude and dismissive tone - that “this is New York,” that it was “actually very clean,” and that it wasn’t their responsibility. To make things worse, their staff showed up without any prior notice, knocking loudly on my door several times, including once during an important conference call - even after I had told them the suggested time didn’t work for me. When I asked to cancel the reservation and receive a refund due to these numerous issues, they refused. They also declined to relocate me or offer any form of compensation. This was an extremely uncomfortable and stressful stay. I would not recommend Urban Apartments to anyone. Avoid this company if you’re looking for a respectful, reliable, and professionally managed rental experience in New York.

Just a short note to let you know that we very much enjoyed our time in flat 2C (244 E 75th) : spacious shower, queen-sized bed, and fantastic washer-dryer. The location of the apartment is exceptional and allowed us to reach the Met and Central Park within 20 minutes on foot, as well as elegant Madison and Park Avenues. The Upper East Side is brimming with shops, restaurants and gourmet delis like Morton. And not far from our doorstep we had Venchi and the famed Milanese cafe-patisserie St. Ambroeus. I hope to return to New York soon and I hope you will welcome me again.

I hardly write or rate places on social media but my experience with UF has been great and I would like to share with others so they make a better decision. I gave them 5-star for service, communication, location, ease of booking and getting security back. My parents were visiting for a long term stay and we needed a reliable place w all regular amenities as well as multiple rooms. UF fit that criteria right away. Infact prior to booking I got a chance to review the apartment and speak with a rep from UF face to face. My parents and cousins loved the apartment and I would definitely come back to UF when needed in the future.

I absolutely loved my stay in New York with urban furnished. Cute, clean, secure and had all the amenities in my studio from washer dryer, kitchen, AC, laundry basket and so much more. Stayed 3 months and loved the location to groceries, restaurants and gym. Wonderful management team to work with also. They responded back so quickly. If there's one word to describe my stay at the furnished apartment in NYC, it would be "comfortable." From the moment I arrived, the staff was welcoming and informative; they made me feel like I was a long-lost friend of the building. The apartment itself was well-maintained, and the furnishings were modern, but homey. It felt like I was staying at a good friend's house, rather than an apartment I was renting. The location couldn't be better just few min walk to subway station and many restaurants and grocery stores within short walking distance.

Our stay in New York with urban furnished been more than amazing. At our arrival we found everything we needed plus a bottle of wine (what a welcome!). We have to say that the apartment is beautiful starting from the design that we loved. spacious wardrobe, huge livingroom, comfortable bed and all the things we needed to cook at home. We really loved to find all the bathroom amenties, urban furnished offers apartmenrs in many areas in Manhattan starting from 1 month rental, always placed in the best neighborhoods. We couldn't have asked more than this. Also the palace where we stayed was great with a spacious lounge room available for all the guests. Definately the best choise you can do in New York (or wherever you need to find a base).

I lived in one of their apartments during 2022 and it was such a great experience, it felt like a home! The way to enter the building and the apartment was very convenient with a code. Everything was brand new, the restroom had a modern design and the furniture and decoration were aesthetically pleasing. There was all the domestic appliances, even a washing machine/dryer and a dishwasher, which are rare in NYC apartments! Morever, the kitchen was equipped with all the necessary cookware. Internet connection was also very fast and I could work remotely many times without problems. JT and his team were kind and very professional, I could contact them anytime and they helped me fast and efficiently (for example, when a ceiling light bulb burned out). Pricing might seem high for foreigners, but it was a good deal considering NYC standards where housing is super expensive, and also taking into account that these apartments come completely furnished with modern equipment. My apartment was very well located in Manhattan and very close to a subway station. I am sure that living in this apartment upgraded my experience in NYC! I am going back to NYC in a few months and I will contact them to stay in one of their apartments without any doubts!

I used Urbanfurnished when I needed a place to stay for a month. The apartment was absolutely not as it was on the Airbnb pictures. It was dirty and had major leakings. Urban Furnished sent someone who did nothing except cleaning the dishes (instead of cleaning the mouse droppings inside the kitchen cabinets, for example). However, UF was very reactive and tried to fix the leaking issue (it was still a problem after a month but they sent someone twice). In a few words, I recommend you to ask for a video tour before booking an accommodation.

We just completed a wonderful stay at 244 East 75th Street. From booking to check out, Josh and the entire Urban Furnished team were great to work with on this rental. The apartment was impeccably clean and was nicely furnished. The photos on the website perfectly reflected the actual apartment. We were thoroughly impressed with Urban Furnished. We would definitely look to rent through them again on our next long term visit to NYC.
