Upper Limits has been so fantastic in accomodating college students! The general manager at Maryland Heights (Holly) is so extremely helpful in making climbing accessible for our student climbing club. She keeps costs low for college students (which is fantastic, because most of us couldn't afford to climb otherwise!), promotes fun community events for us, and works with us to help our new climbers get started. The collegiate competitions are also very affordable and have great opportunities to win free gear, which most of us could not otherwise afford. I speak for myself and my club in saying that without upper limits' help and support, there is no way we could ever be so involved in the climbing community and the sport overall. Thank you Upper Limits!!!
Upper Limits deserves every bit of 5 stars. I’m incredibly grateful for the experience I’ve had here. The climbing is top tier, with routes that challenge you and help you improve fast. The environment is welcoming, supportive, and full of people who genuinely love the sport.
What really stands out is the collegiate competitions. They are organized, competitive, and honestly some of the most fun events I’ve been a part of. They push you to be better while still keeping that positive and encouraging atmosphere.

Were down in St. Louis for VEX Worlds 2026 from North Dakota with 2 Rovotics teams. My Group wanted to Roclclimb this evening so we ventured out. The staff was awesome, and very helpful getting us juat what we needed. The location was nicely sized and had plenty of room for quite a few people. They had many different skill walls available and that was great. If your looking for something Fun to do with a group. Stop by and do some Rockclimbing

Upper Limits did a wonderful job introducing them to climbing and getting the kids on the wall to build confidence.
Cupcakes and Goodie Bags included so Parents can enjoy the Party and not worrying about stress of planning.

Favorite new gym. I can do a little rock climbing and workout in the fitness room. They offer classes and instruction guides if you need help or have questions.
