I've had an amazing experience at University of the People! As a UoPeople student, the tuition-free online degrees were a game-changer which is no financial barrier or rigid schedules. The courses are engaging, taught by real professors, and the global student community feels supportive and diverse. The accreditation means the degree is respected, and the flexible pacing let me balance life and studies perfectly. The instructors at University of the People are the true highlight of my educational journey, earning this five-star rating easily. For instance, they bring a wealth of real-world experience into the virtual classroom that enriches every lesson. We often worry that online learning might feel isolated or impersonal. However, the faculty here actively bridges that gap with personalized feedback and constant support. Notably, they are not just grading papers; they are mentoring us to ensure we truly grasp the concepts. Their dedication transforms complex topics into manageable knowledge. Thus, if you value expert guidance and genuine academic support, this is the right place for you.

University of the People is the best uni out there. They provide financial aid and it really is tuition free! No tuition, no book and supply costs only an admission fee and assessment cost for every course for the final exam. There's a dedicated Program Advisor assigned to you and they can be super helpful.
I do wish 🤞 there were more courses and more degree options. I wish I had more electives, gen ed, humanities and social sciences courses.
I wish 🤞 there were more activities besides writing discussion posts and/or essays every week and then responding to peer discussions and in some cases giving them a grade however, peer learning is supposed to be a better way to learn.
I wish 🤞 the disability services office was more respondent and with my Dr's note, give me the extra time that I need.
I wish 🤞 that some courses weren't proctored (not all are).
I wish 🤞 that transferring credits from international institutions - including Canada - wasn't so expensive. I undertsand that some countries don't have great educational merit for their schools however, Canada (and some other countries like the UK, Australia etc but definitely Canada's world-class and top-rate educational institutions) shouldn't have to have public college education evaluated by an expensive third-party!
Most instructors are super helpful and responsive. The uni itself is run mainly be volunteers, including instructors and professors. The uni is a non-profit uni.. the very first of its kind, attracts students globally and is so super affordable. I recommend anyone wanting a degree, certificate, diploma etc from university check them out. I have badges from listening to online presentations free and learn more skills in the process. There's also badges in the LRC (student Learning Resource Centre) which provides student library help math help, writing help and help with APA7 (American Psychological Association formatting.
My lowest grade was an 87% (a B minus - I think - on their grading scale, I had an 88% a B - I think ' and a 92% which wad an A minus). This term I mat get 95% or higher in my courses but we will find out. This is week 5 or 9 and so far, minus one paper which I'm appealing, I've been getting straight 10/10, 9.8/10 and other than the paper I'm appealing, my lowest mark was an 86.75% on a graded test. I had 1 or 2 wrong.
So you see, there's pros and cons to every school. #UofPeople is no different. It's affordable, non-profit and wants to give an affordable education to everyone who can't afford traditional school - again they are fully accredited.
At least check out:

I promise you won't be let down. The education is high quality and fully accredited.
When I graduate with my BSc Health Science, i will also have earned 4 university diplomas as well as my degree. You can take four (4) courses per nine (9) week term.
I have posted some of the free badges I've received by doing webinars - ouside of my program!
