We had such a special stay at Umah Lusa in Munduk! This place is a hidden gem. The room was huge, super clean, and had everything we could possibly need. The view from the pool is just stunning, and the jacuzzi was a nice bonus after a long day of exploring.
What really stood out though was the service—so personalized and warm. Luke and Satria, the owners, are incredibly kind and made us feel right at home. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff either, and they always handled our requests super quickly.
The food was amazing—everything is made fresh and comes from their own farm, which is such a nice touch. Breakfast was honestly one of the best we’ve had in Bali. We left feeling relaxed, well-fed, and already planning our return. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a peaceful escape in Munduk!

A peaceful paradise in Munduk
Umah Lusa completely exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel like family. The owners, Luke and Satria, are the kindest people and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Every little request was handled quickly and with a smile. The room was super spacious and spotless, with all the amenities we could think of. We loved soaking in the jacuzzi and relaxing by the pool with that incredible view. Breakfast was outstanding, and all the food we tried was delicious—especially knowing it all comes straight from their own farm! This place feels like a peaceful corner of paradise. Can’t wait to come back!

Holiday Retreat
Four or us stayed here, in two villas, as a special birthday celebration. Luxurious boutique villas nestled in the hills of Bali, with beautiful views across the forest down to the sea. The accommodation was perfect, and the food and service went far above & beyond our expectations. Guests and the local community benefit from the resorts approach to sustainability and organic products, and this added so many memorable touches to our experience. I would highly recommend and we will definitely be returning, one of the best holidays we have had.
Absoulote bliss. A magical location, set high up in the mountains, offering spectacular views down to the sea. We stayed in the Sidem suite, with a huge luxurious bed, elegant furniture and magnificent forest & sea views from the balcony.
The service, food and accommodation were impeccable, without fault.
The attention to detail across the resort made our stay feel special and luxurious.
The menu offered a wonderful variety of classic Indonesian and western comfort food, full of flavour with wonderfully friendly staff attending to your every need. Home grown produce is sourced from the Umah Lusa's farm. We visited the farm and picked ingrediants that were then prepared and served with our meals.
I enjoyed a selection of massages in the resorts spa, and the full body massage is by far the best I have ever had.
Relaxed and rejunivated, the perfect holiday retreat.

An amazing stay at Umah Lusa made better by the lovely staff and great food! We spent 5nights here and were treated to complete quiet and relaxation - we spent many afternoons in the steam and sauna - a really great addition to have to their spa!
Pool beds are super comfy, beach bags and blankets provided are great touch and the hot tub is great to jump in after a dip in the refreshing pool.
Staff couldn't do more, always smiling and very helpful with local knowledge. The food here was amazing, breakfast was super, lunch delicious and really nice to have delivered to the room! All dinners we had were amazing and super consistent!
Afternoon tea offered to us everyday, complimentary, along with a sweet treat made from the food from their local farm.
Top it off the fire pit was magical, sitting at night with marshmallows watching the stars and fireflies - pure relaxation!
Overall an absolutely amazing stay if your looking for beautiful sunset, peaceful pool days and time to really unwind. 100% would stay again.

A new haven of peace, full of charm, to discover absolutely in the north of Bali, perched in the mountain, 20 minutes above Lovina.
If you are looking for a little freshness in a suspended, intimate place, then this place is for you.
The owners, a mixed Indo/English couple, have put their heart into it and have managed to unite the whole village, which supports them in this adventure. Moreover, all the staff are local. Most of them are former cruise employees, who returned to the village during the pandemic and never left. They are therefore all already trained in tourism and many of them speak perfect English.
Not far from the establishment, they have, on dozens of ares, their own organic vegetable garden. You can go there and harvest your own vegetables, and during a cooking class cook them, to finally taste the dishes that you have prepared.
The bedding and pillows are a pure invitation to soft and restful nights.
If you like to wake up early, then you will have the chance to see beautiful sunrises, and if you are lucky, like we were, then you will be facing a beautiful show: complete rainbow going from the mountain until the top of one of the Java volcano, over passing the palm trees.
The sunsets are also amazing in this area.
The food, cooked by a local chef, is quite good.

The perfect location to decompress and enjoy true Bali. Nestled in the clove forest mountains of Pedawa Village, North Bali, with seaside views or watch the clouds roll in and enjoy the cooler clime.
The traditional Joglo rooms are enormous and beautifully decorated.
The food really did exceed expectations and please make time for spa, you won't regret it!
