In January, I walked in to have the tyres pressure and accelerator of my small hatchback checked on a Saturday as I had some concerns before an upcoming long trip to Manchester by car. David was very kind, didn't turn me away as some garages have done in the past (I had no appointment that day), offered to do a very quick test-drive to check my accelerator system and fixed the tyres pressure with courtesy and free of charge. I could not have hoped for more and will come back to this garage's courteous, fair and friendly services.
On another occasion in 2024, when I was getting quotes from different garages to get my brake pads replaced, they were (by far) the cheapest and honest price quotation. I would choose them every time I need my car servicing.
Very disappointing experience.
I brought in a freshly painted rim to have an old tyre replaced with a new one I supplied — a straightforward job that should have required basic care and professional handling. Unfortunately, the rim was damaged during the fitting process, with scratches and marks left across the newly painted surface.
The wheel was in perfect condition when I handed it over, and the damage appears to have been caused by improper handling on the tyre machine. A professional shop should be fully equipped and trained to work on refurbished wheels without causing this kind of damage.
What concerns me most is the lack of attention and quality control. Customers trust a tyre shop to return their property in the same condition it was received, and in this case that did not happen.
I hope the business takes responsibility and works toward resolving this situation appropriately, as this experience has been both frustrating and costly.
I cannot recommend this place to anyone. If you value your wheels or your vehicle, take your business elsewhere. Zero stars would be more appropriate.

Thank you for your review. We’re sorry to hear that you were disappointed with your experience, and we would like to clarify a few important points for accuracy and transparency.
The marks shown are not the result of improper handling, lack of experience, or lack of care. The tyre fitter involved is fully trained and experienced, and on the same day fitted multiple tyres to other wheels without any damage.
Importantly, we were not advised that the wheel had been freshly painted or refurbished. Newly refurbished wheels require a minimum of 72 hours for paint to cure, unless the wheel has been professionally baked in an oven to accelerate the curing process. In this case, neither was its baked in a oven or communicated to us.
If paint has not fully cured, it remains soft and can show marks during normal tyre fitting procedures — particularly during the bead-breaking stage, which applies controlled pressure to the tyre sidewall, not the wheel itself.
It is also worth noting that during the refurbishment process, tyres are normally removed or at least unseated (beads broken) from the rim, specifically so that tyres can be refitted easily once the wheel is returned to service. This is standard practice within wheel refurbishment.
Had we been informed that the wheel had just been painted, we would have advised delaying the tyre fitment until the paint had fully cured to prevent this issue.
We take pride in the care we show with customers’ vehicles and wheels, and we always aim to be fair and transparent when addressing concerns. Unfortunately, in this instance, the evidence is consistent with insufficiently cured paint rather than negligence or poor workmanship.

I had a very disappointing experience at this second-hand tyre shop. The tyres were advertised as being in “good condition,” but they were clearly worn and felt unsafe. When I returned to raise my concerns, the employees were extremely rude and dismissive, speaking to me in an unprofessional and disrespectful manner. Instead of trying to help, they acted annoyed and blamed me for the issue. Prices were not cheap for used tyres, and there was no transparency about tyre age or quality. Poor products and even worse customer service—I would NOT recommend this shop to anyone.
Please check the picture 📸 to see how I find the spare wheel on the second day after I was to them.....
Great service! Friendly team, fast ordering, and quick, quality fitting and balancing. Highly recommend!
My experience here was extremely unpleasant. The staff came across as rude, dismissive, and completely unprofessional. The prices were far higher than expected, and at several points I felt misled by the way the costs and services were explained. The whole situation left me with the impression that customer care is not a priority here. I left dissatisfied and frustrated, and I absolutely would not recommend this place to anyone.
