Great little piece of kit, it would've received five stars if it wasn't for the connection issues to the Wi-Fi when we received it.
Even though we checked the requirements it would not connect to my home network. We needed to connect it to a hotspot (iPhone) first and once it updated the firmware it was then able to collect to the home network.

Quite honestly, the best gadget I've bought in a very long time.
I recently discovered these and ordered the desktop unit with Elinor Hamilton voice pack and premium subscription. To say I'm impressed is a massive understatement. I'm so impressed that I've also ordered a pro sized board which should arrive tomorrow.
If you like trains or just appreciate a great and truly innovative gadget, you should absolutely have one of these.

Efficient service. great quality boards and a real talking point, as well as being genuinely useful.
The premium subscription is a must but I feel that it is a little expensive for a recurring fee, and would be more palatable if there was one-off cost or much lower monthly bill.

I have really enjoyed having this and have had some fun with it. One bad thing is that when I got it came with the 30-day premium which did have some good parts to customise your board. I did buy the tube voice pack and think that made a real difference. But did not know that even though you have the voice pack you can not use it once your subscription runs out. It's a good product still and I still like it. ( the info for premium is there when you buy the voice pack I just missed it)

Thanks for the feedback, we do try and make it clear as possible that the voice packs require a subscription and section it about 3 times on the product page and FAQ, we even have a warning on the checkout page. If you could let us know how we can make it more obvious that would be much appreciated.

I love my board, I have had it a few months now and all visitors comment on it and want a demo.
The initial delivery was quick, it was well packed and the customer service was excellent - I had some issues getting it up and running (my fault) and I had a response back with the answer within a short time and around 8pm at night.

Excellent customer service - I got a personal response almost instantly and my question was answered. I ordered directly after that and the item arrived far sooner than it was expected (less than 24hrs later). Set up was very easy and the board works perfectly rotating between showing services from my local LU station and also buses passing the stop I use most near home. I already had the mini desktop version and now i have the classic version and both perform very well and are of practical as well as decorative use.

I had been looking at the Classic UK DEPARTURE BOARD since seeing it Chester Cathedral Making Tracks 2. So saving all my pennies finally bought one direct from the source. What a brilliant bit of kit in the words of Pete Waterman “ Just Like the Real Thing”. And to my surprise it came from Bristol where i lived for 30 years. I also have a voice to listen to ( while the wife is out) giving my model train room an extra benefit of a real station sound of arrivals and departures. Ive also got the USB speaker ready to attach. Ive been using an old bluetooth speaker temporary till i get the adaptor.
