Get my mini Cooper S back to life. The sunroof was stuck. They stripped it down, cleaned everything and serviced it. It’s now working again and I can’t be happier

UCS Convertible Specialist absolutely deserves a five-star review. From start to finish they were fantastic — I was kept informed the whole way through with detailed videos and clear correspondence from Paul and Anis, which really put my mind at ease.
I’ll be honest, I made the job harder than it needed to be by trying to “quick fix” my own sunroof with a load of silicone (spoiler: it didn’t work). What took me about 30 seconds to do ended up taking them a few hours to carefully remove and put right — and they did it properly.
Everywhere else I went tried to push me into replacing the entire panoramic cassette, which was ridiculously expensive. Paul and Anis took the time to repair the issue at a fraction of the price, and the standard of workmanship was spot on. The attention to detail was excellent, right down to the valeting afterwards.

I’ve had issues with my Peugeot 308 CC roof for over 4 years and honestly wasted so much time and money trying to get it fixed. Been to Perrys, had mobile mechanics and auto electricians look at it, spent over £800+, and still no proper fix. Everyone kept guessing — switches, microswitches, wiring — but nothing worked.

I had a major water leak on my Porsche Cayenne which completely destroyed the sound system amplifier and caused serious electrical issues. After trying other garages with no success, I finally took it to these guys in Chorley – and I’m glad I did.
They quickly diagnosed the problem as a fault within the panoramic sunroof cassette, something other places had missed. The level of knowledge and attention to detail was on another level. They repaired the issue properly, stopping the leak and restoring everything back to how it should be.

I took my Alfa Romeo Giulia in for a sunroof repair, and anyone familiar with this car will know the sunroof is notorious for failing — and dealer quotes are usually outrageous.
I decided to take a chance and called UCS, who were happy to see me the same day. When I arrived, Anis got straight to work diagnosing the fault. The shop is conveniently located right in the town centre, which was ideal as it gave me something to do while I waited.
Once Anis identified the issue, he offered me an excellent price for the repair. I even stopped back in during the work, and he took the time to show me how the sunroof mechanism worked, which I really appreciated. He even gave me some food while I was waiting, which was a genuinely kind touch.
Overall, it was an excellent experience. A few hours later, I left with a fully repaired sunroof for a fraction of the dealer’s quote. I can’t recommend UCS highly enough — great professionalism, excellent technical knowledge, and they made me feel very welcome throughout.

Took my Porsche 911 in for a convertible roof issue after being let down elsewhere, and I’m honestly glad I found these guys. The car had multiple faults including failed motors, hydraulic pump issues and faulty microswitches — everything was properly diagnosed and explained to me in a way that actually made sense.

I originally took my car to another garage for a panoramic roof issue and ended up spending £1200, only to be told not to even open the roof afterwards.
Clearly something wasn’t right, so I took it to these guys — and I’m glad I did.
They stripped everything back, found multiple issues from the previous work and properly rectified the whole system. The job actually turned out to be more involved than expected, but they took the time to do it properly rather than cutting corners.
They also repaired parts that I was told would need replacing, saving me a lot of money, including the sunblind components.
You can tell they really know what they’re doing with these roofs — they fix what others can’t.

Had a faulty roof on a e90 335i...anis had a look at the car and spent a few hours figuring out what's wrong, he informed of a water leak and few broken cables and clips, he replaced with parts he already had in stock and when I asked him for the bill, he said 'give whatever you want to charity for me'
