I completely agree with Manzi Akay regarding this group of individuals operating under the guise of a "website developer." My experience with them was deeply disappointing and frustrating.
They failed to deliver on the agreed-upon scope within the promised timeline. When they eventually did deliver something that looked like a website (not a real website by all standards), key components—such as the blog section—were non-functional. Upon raising this with Tony, he shockingly claimed that I needed to pay additional fees to fix the issue, even though it was clearly part of the original contract.
What’s even worse is that when I delayed payment of this so-called “extra charge” (despite already settling the full contract amount), components of my website mysteriously stopped working. Soon after, the site was compromised by hackers. At one point, I even suspected they may have had a hand in the breach.
Despite repeated requests, they made no attempt to resolve the issue. It was only with the help of my hosting provider that I was able to regain access, although the site had been significantly damaged. Tony later demanded more money to "fix" the now-broken site. I sent him 50% of the amount he requested, but he failed to deliver and has since ignored all my follow-up messages via WhatsApp.
To this day, my site remains down—despite all the effort and investment I had put in—because I trusted the wrong developer. In my honest opinion, this group is unprofessional and untrustworthy. I strongly advise others to steer clear. It’s worth paying a little more to work with people who are reliable and competent.
TONY, if you see this, know that your conduct was completely unprofessional and unacceptable.
