Sitting and seeing the chefs in action was so fun and the service was incredible - we LOVED Jane and would return just for her exceptional service. The ambiance was perfect - not too loud, not too quite, the farm to table food was delicious and the drinks selection were unparalleled. Thank you Treadwell - we will be back.
Like others, I wanted to like this place. We were a group of 6. There was a set 3 course menu for $115. The first course, prosciutto with apricots was good. The second course was scallops and pork belly. The pork belly was very dried out, to the point where I could not cut it.
For the third course I had the steak with a mushroom medley. It was nice having chanterelle and morel mushrooms but the flavour was drowned by the salt
The issue was that it was 2 hours before our dinner came. Then 15 minutes later they were closing down the restaurant around us! They didn’t ask if we wanted dessert or coffee because there was no point. They were done
Then when the bill came the server said it was hotel policy to charge a mandatory 20% gratuity for parties of 6 or more. That felt “off” given the timing and the fact they had come by 3 times to apologize for the delays
Could have been a 5 but in the end they were lucky to get a 4
I popped in for a light lunch after a spa day and can't wait to go back. I sat at the counter where I could watch my meal being prepared, which is always a nice experience.
I had a beautiful scallop dish and a glass of wine. It was a quiet weekday, the service was great: prompt and attentive.
I can't wait to go back and try more of their awesome menu offerings!

Food was way overpriced. Tasteless not that hot overcooked. The service was pretty good. The room was incredibly loud. We could barely hear each other, and I noticed that people next to us also ordered similar food and did not eat more than half their meal because of the quality.

Very Disappointing
I have been to a lot of highly rated restaurants and generally speaking it takes a lot, good or bad, to take the time for me to write a review. I find myself writing this because not only was this restaurant underwhelming it was outright bad. The meals were unimaginative and bland and although our table of two approached it with as much optimism as we could, by the end of the meal, we couldn’t help but admit we were both deeply disappointed. There are so many wonderful restaurants when they are in Niagara on the lake that I would not waste my time or money here. All of that said the one positive is that the service was very good.

Dinner is a tasting menu which offered very creative options for each of 3 courses. Flavourful and wonderfully fresh local ingredients. Our server was very attentive and friendly. The sommelier Michael was exceptional in his wine knowledge and enthusiastic sharing of local wines/wineries. A terrific spot if you’re looking for a special dinner.
We had a wonderful experience with Treadwell hosting our conference dinner. James was so responsive and helpful - even offering to host us outside when the weather cooperated.
The food was incredible and there is a fantastic wine list. Everyone agreed it was one of the best meals we’ve ever had!
Highly recommend for a group dinner, or any meal!
