Travel for Teens is a life-changing experience. From my first trip to Hawaii in the summer after 8th grade I knew I’d be hooked on traveling with TFT. I made friendships and memories that have lasted and I loved the independence and freedom of traveling with peers. The seas turtle service projects were one of my favorite parts of the trips. My counselor Gabi was especially amazing and inspired me to keep traveling. Since then I’ve been to Greece and Hawaii again and I can’t wait for this summer’s trip!

I have been on two travel for teens trips. I loved both of them. We got to do fun and immersive activities. It was also nice to be traveling on our own. I have also made lots of friends on my trips.

Went on two trips and couldn’t imagine where I’d be in life if I hadn’t. I got to experience so much and made so many lifelong friends and memories that I will never forget. My trip to Italy was truly an extraordinary vacation and I highly recommend! We went from city to city, trying different foods, and many fun experiences like a private cooking lesson and visiting the Coliseum. We also spent time at Cinque Terre, a coastline town that has some of thr best food and hikes I have ever had. In Venice, I got to take a provate boat ride around the city with my friends. It was awesome. I had so much fun that I've decided to go on a second trip with Travel for Teens this summer.

My son has traveled 2 times with this company. We now have booked trips number 3 and 4 for both of my kids! Well organized and great staff communication from start to finish. Worth the expense as we felt the included activities and food were not skimped on. I recommend this tour company without hesitation. It was the best decision to use TFT.

After taking a couple of family trips to Europe in the last few years, my 15-year-old daughter began to develop a burgeoning passion for travel, particularly internationally. Last year, she expressed interest in traveling with a teen group. I think she enjoyed our family excursions, but started to see the value in sometimes letting go of the safety net of having her parents there and instead striking out on her own. She is a very independent, self-motivated person who craves new challenges and new experiences. After doing a bit of research on teen travel companies, she presented us with a request to sign up for a TFT trip to Costa Rica in the summer of 2025. We did a little digging on our own and agreed it sounded like an excellent opportunity.
We, I think, understandably, had a little reluctance and anxiety sending her off to another country without us, but it couldn't have worked out better. The TFT staff kept in constant communication before, during, and after her trip. The biggest hurdle was cleared early on, when she flew solo from Oregon to San Jose. The entire process was well planned, and the chaperone met her at the airport as promised to take her to meet the group. Her trip was outstanding. We received regular updates on the group's itineraries and daily activities. We were able to call, text, and email to check in directly as well. She felt her chaperones were knowledgeable and caring, and she felt very early on in the trip that there was a mutual sense of trust. Most importantly, she had an amazing adventure that exposed her to new cultures, gave her a sense of accomplishment in taking part in philanthropic activities, and gave her the confidence to travel independently. Before she even got back home, she was already planning her next adventure, which will be this summer in Greece and Italy.

My trip to Tanzania with Travel for Teens was incredible from start to finish. It was one of those experiences that actually stays with you long after you’re home. The entire program was extremely well run, and I always felt supported, safe, and excited for whatever came next.
The service part of the trip was genuinely meaningful, and it felt good to know we were contributing in a positive way. Even more than that, the leaders created an environment where everyone connected easily, and the group became really close. The energy was always positive, and every day felt like a mix of purpose and fun.
The safari portion was honestly unforgettable. The places we visited, the views, and the wildlife were on a whole different level.
Overall, the trip was exciting, inspiring, and way beyond what I expected. I’d recommend the Tanzania Service & Safari program to anyone looking for an amazing, eye opening adventure with great people and a super supportive staff.

I did the travel for teens Italy and Greece and Hawaii program and both programs were very enjoyable! You can experience the rich and diverse culture of a new country from a locals perspective with new friends and amazing counselors. The trips are super organized, so you always feel safe while having tons of freedom to explore. Overall, it’s the perfect way to travel, have fun, and make memories you’ll never forget.

My Adventure Tour to Thailand in July 2024 was filled with some of the richest and best memories I will ever make. I got to meet so many amazing people, both locals and friends I made on the tour. When I try and decide a favorite part, it's always impossible. From the time at the school, volunteer work with the elephants, visiting the temples, exploration of the islands, and so much more, each time a moment of the trip pops into my head, it brings a smile to my face. TFT staff did an exceptional job organizing the itinerary and engaging with the students, helping to create a fulfilling trip that will stay with me forever.

I had such an amazing time with travel for teens. I went for a community service program, thinking I was only going to be doing it for credits but in the end I ended up having the funnest time of my life! Everything about the program was so well put together. I ended up making so many friends, eating a ton of delicious food, and taking with me a ton of memories! Totally recommend this program to anyone who’s looking to do it!

My summer at TFT (Thailand Adventure) was a dope experience 💯. The counselors and the other teens were super chill and made a whole new country feel like a home away from home. The program had the perfect balance of new cultural experiences, group activities, and community service. Every day was something new! Swimming with elephants, going to thai markets, hiking on a beautiful mountain, or learning how to cook noodles in bamboo shoots! We worked to make a big impact and long-lasting difference for the kids we helped and the schools we worked to renew. Where we worked to make a difference, we also made connections along the way. We connected with the Thai language, the food, the people, the wildlife, and each other. The experience goes hard🔥10/10! Recommend!!! <3

I had a very nice time on my teen tour to London and Paris. I met lots of different high schoolers from across the country, and had a good time getting to know them. Food was alright. Visited interesting places, both tourist-y and not as much, but my favorite part was spending time with my fellow travelers. The counsellors were also very friendly, funny, and helpful. We went biking, tried hot chocolate, explored gardens, enjoyed the pier of Brighton, and more. Overall an enjoyable experience.
