The botanical gardens are absolutely beautiful and well worth the visit. The setting along the river is stunning, and the gardens are very peaceful and well maintained. If you have a chance to stop at the restaurant, they have excellent pizza. It was one of the highlights of our trip and such a nice change from the resort area. Highly recommended!

We visited in mid December 2025.Tourspvr offered a very fair price for round trip shuttle service and admission. The grounds were absolutely beautiful. I walked the river loop. I wish I’d brought my swim suit and a towel. I was still able to wade around for a bit but would have had a nice swim had I had my suit. We also loved the restaurant. Its was the best lunch I had in PVR the whole week. Don’t miss this place!

My very very favourite activity in or near puerto Vallarta. We go every year and take our teenagers and elderly parents. Well worth the effort of taking a taxi or renting a car. And one of the best meals you’ll have anywhere as well!

Absolutely stunning! Bring reef friendly sunscreen and swim wear and enjoy the river! Bug spray is a must. Enjoy the restaurant on site! The gift shop has some beautiful items and in some cases for a cheaper price than in town. It's absolutely magical and I wish I could have gone back multiple times or at least with even more time. Download the maps ahead of time as the Internet connection isn't great. There are easy trails down to the water...and harder trails. I'm glad we took the Jaguar trail DOWN and figured out there's an easy trail UP. Super easy to get to with the city bus. Bring binoculars!

Absolutely stunning sprawling grounds with no end of plants and different areas to explore. We ended it all with a meal at the wonderful restaurant where you can view hummingbirds while you eat.
