Honestly cannot recommend enough!! I’ve always been so anxious at the dentist, which is why I’ve chosen Toothbar. Every hygienist and dentist truly cares about their patients. I recently saw Rachel and Dr. Bakke, and was very impressed how kind and thorough they were. 10/10 recommend.

I had such a great experience at Toothbar today. I went in for an emergency appointment after dealing with really bad sensitivity in my front teeth, and after not getting many answers from another dentist in East Austin, I was honestly pretty stressed. Toothbar got me in same day and immediately made me feel taken care of.
Everyone was so kind and welcoming from the second I walked in. Check in was quick, the office is super nice, and they even gave me a blanket and TV while I waited which made it feel way less “dentist office” and way more relaxing.
But the biggest shoutout goes to Dr. Andrea Bakke. She was AMAZING. So thorough, knowledgeable, and genuinely caring. She took the time to explain everything, rule out different possibilities, and gave me more helpful information than I’ve gotten anywhere else about what could actually be causing this issue. I finally felt like someone was really listening and trying to get to the root of the problem instead of rushing me out the door.
She also gave me a referral and guidance for the condition she suspects I may have, which honestly saved me a ton of time and frustration. I left feeling relieved, informed, and actually optimistic.
Hands down the best dental experience I’ve ever had. Highly recommend Toothbar and Dr. Andrea Bakke. I’ll definitely be coming back and sending friends and family here too.

I have bad anxiety around the dentist so when I found toothbar, I was so thrilled. The environment was calming and everyone is so kind. The office is modern and stunning. I’ve had a couple cavities in my life, so when I went to them at first and they told me I had one, it didn’t shock me. They filled it and I moved on. But almost every time since, I had more cavities and they were ALWAYS trying to upsell me other services. The last time I went, they told me I needed a deep clean with numbing/sedation, that my gums were in bad health, and needed 2 more cavities filled. They made me feel dirty and guilty for allowing my dental health to get so poor. Like other reviews, they also pulled the “you’re out of network” card during my appointment, rather than ahead of time. They gave me an estimate for over $1200. That was the final straw… I got a second opinion elsewhere and they said my teeth looked great, and a regular cleaning was all I needed. I’m now wondering how many unnecessary fillings and other things I’ve had done to my teeth by toothbar. Pretty office probably has pretty high rent they need to pay, so that cost trickles to the patients. Unfortunate.
My first time here and it exceeded my expectations! My husband goes here and I kept putting off booking an appointment which lead to total Dentist Dread! I finally booked the appointment to establish care and I am soo glad I did! It was super informative, Tess and everyone there was so kind and helpful. Reset the way I view the dentist!

I was recommended this place as it was supposed to be very good. I had a filling that needed to be replaced. They replaced it, did my bite adjustment and I left. My tooth hurt for a few weeks still and I went back. They charged me X-ray fees. It needed a bite adjustment again. They said it was fixed. 2 weeks later it still hurt from pressure. Went back, said they fixed it. Now they charged me more fees for their lack of ability to do a simple bite adjustment yet they keep charging me like I did something wrong. I have paid an additional $50 in fees for X-rays and now I get sent a bill for $75 for more fees. I canceled my crown appointment because if they can’t get a bite adjustment right after 3 tries, I don’t want them shaving down a whole tooth. I will not be paying the $75. This is not due to my error but their inability to just adjust my bite that I apparently need to pay for. If you’re here for cosmetic, maybe they are better for that. General Dentistry? I recommend you find somewhere else.
Fantastic service as always, staff are always helpful and considerate .Showed genuine compassion as i needed a quick appointment prior to an urgent Biopsy.

It was my first visit today, and I’d absolutely recommend this place. The front desk staff were both friendly and welcoming, and I was called back quickly with hardly any wait. My dental hygienist was incredibly kind, made me feel comfortable right away, and kept things relaxed the whole time. They even offer a blanket and a neck warmer, which is such a nice touch because who wants to be cold in the dentist chair?
Both the hygienist and the dentist took the time to explain anything that needed attention and clearly walked me through what to expect moving forward. It’s not easy to find a great dental office, but I’m really glad I chose this one.

This is the best denistry in Austin! The dental hygienist are exceptional but beyond their expertise they are attractive, fun spirited and make your dental visit a big time enjoyable experience. The dentists run a crisp detail and are bright, fun and always have time for you. Try them once, i promise you won't go anywhere else plus, the office is state of the art and the location is a perfect destination for an enjoyable day in Austin-
