Highly delighted. I thought my electric fire of 4 yrs had broken. James said he would call at my home to have a look, he was there promptly, friendly and courteous. It was only a safety switch which had been knocked off, so he,d trailed basically for nothing, but still smiled and said that had saved the cost of a new fire. Sorry for putting you out of your way and extremely busy period of the year James, can't thank you enough. Great shop, really friendly staff.

Called this place to enquire about if they carry out any repairs. The guy who answered the phone was rude. He wanted me to obtain all the information as he had customers waiting. So how does he class me on the phone. Such poor customer service. I could’ve decided to purchase a new fireplace as I know it’s unrepairable. So I’ll now go elsewhere.

We are sorry you are unhappy, we always need information regarding customers existing fires (we need to be able to order parts etc) you rang when I had a showroom full of customers wanting assistance, I simply asked you politely to call me back when you had the info I required to save everyone having to wait (we always try to prioritise customers that are in the showroom).you asked for my mobile number so you could call me later?? We don't give out our personal numbers (sending an email or calling the shop phone is somethingwe ask all customers to do)
Your unkind review dosnt make sense If your fire is unrepairable why have you asked us to send an engineer out to repair it???

We purchased a fire from here a couple of months ago, my husband has lost a couple of brackets in between fitting the fire and glass and house renovation. The customer service to replace these parts within a couple of days has been great. I am really happy with the fire it looks amazing

Brilliant experience throughout. Only fireplace shop to go to. James was incredibly helpful and always available to answer any questions. The selection of fireplaces/stoves on offer is the best I’ve seen. Delivery was prompt, slotting in perfectly with my joiner’s timescale for the media wall. Couldn’t recommend anywhere better! If you need a fire place or stove then this is the place to go. I went for an electric stove, the one I got looks like the real thing. Couldn't be happier. Make sure you ask for James!!

Just had a Malton Limestone fireplace and Charlton & Jenrick slimline fire installed by TLR. We are delighted with the result. They have a lovely showroom and James gave us helpful and sound advice, without any pressure. The whole process took about 6 weeks from initial survey to final fitting. Many thanks to James, and to Tom who removed our old fire and fireplace, then installed the new one. Very happy to recommend this business.

Malton Limestone fireplace Just had a Malton Limestone fireplace and Charlton & Jenrick electric fire installed by TLR. Lovely experience with TLR. Cannot praise their fitter Tom high enough. He went absolutely above and beyond. Very polite and genuine young man, which is rare to find these days. Not used new fire yet due to heat but feel confident if I have issues TLR and Tom will be very helpful to sort any problems which may arise.

Had the living room fit my new fire and surround from start to finish 1st class service ,they came out and tested to see what I could have the range in the showroom there's plenty of choice ,picked the fire , surround and tom installed it who made a perfect job of the fire very happy ,would and will use this company again without hesitation .thanks again guys 👍

I've recently bought an electric fire and marble fireplace from this company and I must admit I've been very impressed from start to finish. Mike is an excellent salesman and showed us what was available in the store which is brilliant. He was very patient and kind and even looked in a brochure to find a fire that suited our needs better. The real star of the show was Robert who did an excellent job of fitting the new fireplace/fire. He is a true professional and did an absolutely faultless install. He's also very friendly and makes you feel relaxed. James (the owner) was very helpful when I asked some advice about the fire and was happy to assist if I had an issues operating it. You can tell he wants to keep a good reputation for his business. I definitely recommend this company to anyone wanting a new fireplace or fire. The store is very nice inside with plenty of choice and you never feel under pressure to purchase anything.
