We had an exceptional experience working with Juan Carlos and Third Heaven Landscape on our Monterey property. We designed a detailed, Mediterranean-style landscape with a very specific vision: clean lines, structured plant groupings, and a cohesive California Gold gravel layout throughout the entire property. Juan Carlos embraced that vision and executed it with incredible care and precision. What truly stood out was his collaboration … he honored the design while also offering practical input, helping ensure everything not only looked beautiful but functioned well long-term. He was flexible, solution-oriented. Martin and crew were outstanding—hardworking and consistent. The grading, gravel installation, planting layout, and overall flow of the yard were all done to a very high standard. Communication was always clear and timely, which made our project feel manageable and smooth. The end result is exactly what we wanted: a calm, modern Mediterranean landscape that fits the home perfectly. It’s rare to find someone who combines craftsmanship, integrity, and strong communication the way Juan Carlos does. We highly recommend Third Heaven Landscape and would absolutely work with him again.

I have hired Third Heaven for a landscaping job and I’m very impressed. The landscaping project will begin once the remodel of our house is complete. But my General Contractor was having trouble getting his excavation subcontractors to get to the project and remove several brick & concrete patios, so I called Juan Carlos and he had a team come on the weekend and remove the brick and concrete with the right equipment in two days. They did such a great job my contractor asked if they could remove the front walkway and another brick patio. Once again they came on a weekend with a team and the right equipment. Very impressive. I can’t wait to finish the remodel of the house, so Third Heaven can do all the irrigation and landscaping. I interviewed three landscapers and definitely hired the correct one. Update: Our contractor’s concrete contractor was very busy and kept delaying, so we asked Juan Carlos to bid on the concrete patios and walkways. His bid was very comparable to the other contractor and he committed to starting in two weeks. We hired Third Heaven and the team did a great job! The job was large, so they had to separate it into 5 separate days, which they did consequently last week. But first they poured a sample 16x16 square giving us four different examples of color and stamp textures to pick from. It was very helpful to see. We absolutely love the concrete work. Plus by having Third Heaven do the work, they were able to put conduit under the concrete to allow for their lighting and irrigation plan. We love working with Juan Carlos.

I would highly recommend third Heaven company to do your landscaping two years ago. He did our the front yard and it is outstanding this year. He did our backyard and it is great. We enjoy it every day five stars.

UNRELIABLE. Agreed to do a project and bailed after a month. Commitments don't mean anything I guess. Wasted my time as we’ve met and communicated about this project for a month and this now puts me back. Besides that, poor communication, takes a couple, sometimes a few days to respond so either is busy or doesn't want to talk to you for whatever reason. Another disappointing landscaper experience.

Juan Carlos and his workers were awesome! From start to finish, Juan Carlos was always available to offer ideas, listen to us, make small changes when needed, and go above and beyond in every way. Third Heaven is a great landscape contractor we have hired them several times. The last project was a 10 thousand gallon rainwater collection, storage and delivery system. Third Heaven provided all the design architect sub-contracting, city permits, negotiating, inspections, material procurement and installation. System is self-contained and works good. At the completion of the job, all debris was removed. The job site was cleaned up and looks better than before the work began. Third Heaven is an excellent landscape contractor we will use again.
