These lessons are excellent practice for learning Italian. My only criticism is that the informal form of verbs is used extensively, and the formal form, rarely. For visiting Italy as a tourist, the formal form is safer to use. At times the same lesson will intermix the forms, which is fine practice except that since that isn't explained, some people might be confused.

Yes, you can totally get by with informal speech as a foreigner. Formal speech is introduced later on in the course and sprinkled here and there since then.
Elizabeth responded v quickly with useful, specific advice on downloading the app which I was having difficulty with .

Kristen, Thank you for the email. I could not open it. I do not know why my account seems to be frozen at 154, but it is. Please contact me as soon as possible as this is turning into the second evening I cannot access the program Nancy

Nancy! It's been more than 2 years together. Bravaaaaa
Think in Italian does just that: it teaches the student to think in Italian. While other courses rely heavily on translation, grammar exercises, or memorization, Think in Italian makes you comfortable speaking Italian like an Italian. The student learns grammar naturally and intuitively, through engagingly-illustrated lessons and readings, and practices what he or she learns through conversations with the AI tutor. Another distinguishing feature of this course is that there is a real person behind it, not a corporation, and he is always willing to listen to and respond to his students' queries and comments. Highly recommended!

Deborahhh mi fai felice. :)
Mediocre at best!
Waste of money! There are MUCH better Italian language courses available. The site doesnât work well, itâs always changing and not for the better! The lessons have become annoying, although I think they were intended to be kinda cute. Theyâre not! Quite distracting! The support is not good and if you have any issues Stefano is a nightmare to work with. Heâs rude, angry and unprofessional! Look elsewhere for much better options!

Denni, this is the 4th bad review from you, which makes the majority of all the bad reviews I've ever gotten. It all started 9 months ago with quizlets embedded on my free blog posts supposedly not working. I was never able to replicate the issue. You asked for a refund 4 months after you started your plan, I didn't grant it because I have a 30-day refund policy, you filed a case with your credit card company and lost it. Since then, you started complaining about everything. If my courses are so bad, why don't you stop using them and go somewhere else?
I tried other apps like Babbel and Memrise, none made me fluent or made me feel like I was making much meaningful progress in learning a language.
Think in Italian is the only app that actually trains your ability to understand normal spoken italian as well as speak it.
Itâs a phenomenal app, please give it a try

You make me happy Anirudh. :)
I have used just about every language learning platform you can name. Think in Italian is the only one that makes me move my mouth. When my sole objective is to improve my spoken Italian, this is important!

Thank you also for your suggestions about the grammar notes. I already asked my writer to update them.

Meravigliosa!
I signed up for your course.
It is amazing.
It is equal to having an expensive tutor.
So, congratulations, Stefano, you have conquered the beast..
Having to compose in Italian is great, very challenging, as it should be.
Think in Italian is now, by far, the best Italian course in the field.

Dear Elizabeth, ChatGPT the "beast" is at your service in my AI tutor. :)
For the last two weeks this web site has failed me. Thought it was a temporary glitch. Two weeks is far from temporary. I have a subscription - but when I go to thinkinitalian.com the site has changed. There is no login page... only an offer to sign up for a trial.
I have not been able to use what I paid (multi soldi) for.

Dear Richard, I'm sorry to hear that. I just saw your review. The link to log in has always been on the header of every page on the website, so I don't understand the problem. You've been with me for 2 years and it's always been there. Did you get in touch with support?
