I consider myself truly blessed to have such an awesome shop on my doorstep. Jo at the Wool Cellar has a fantastic range of yarns and supplies covering just about every type of project you can think of. The range is updated regularly with new lines added all the time, so there is always lots of lovely yarns to have a 'squish' of. Jo is so friendly and knowledgeable, she always makes time to ask about your projects. Would highly recommend a visit!

Jo is the kindest, most helpful and knowledgeable lady. I asked for help (if possible) and it was given straightaway. Incredibly grateful, thankyou. The shop in Chipping Sodbury High Street is beautifully laid out with thought-through displays of yarn, a seating area by the pattern books, a vibrant window display, and many handy accessories. Jo organises a Yarn-over festival in the town each year which showcases local wools, knitters and crocheters, as well as demonstrations. It’s extremely well done and very popular. I would give the Wool Cellar and indeed the wool seller herself way more than 5 stars.

Such a beautiful shop, I particularly love how such care has been taken in how the shelves are stocked, all tonal shades together etc - makes it so much more enjoyable. It also has the best selection I’ve found locally. Won’t go anywhere else if I can help it. Jo is so helpful even with my mad indecisiveness. Can’t recommend enough.

I would rate it more than 5 stars if it were possible. A really lovely shop filled to the brim with a fantastic range of all types of yarn and accessories and patterns for all types of projects. The range is inspiring and there is something for every budget and all items represent super value including when compared to online prices. They do also have an online option with free delivery over £30 and very reasonable postage below the free delivery limit. But, if you can, please visit the shop to experience the delightful range and quality and the wonderfully skilled and friendly staff.

I could have spent the day just mooching about and the shop ladies were absolutely lovely. We must use these small businesses because if we don't they will sadly disappear. I will return. I

So good to see a small business thrive. Having gradually expanded over the past couple of years there is always a friendly face to help you select your yarn, or give you advice about knitting/crochet. Now with a fabulous 'pattern area' you can relax and select your next project in comfort to make use of the excellent range of yarns (to suite all budgets) available. Definitely the best in the area.

Since my daughter has taken up knitting, we pop in here on the school run. The selection of interesting wools is amazing for such a small space and the owner is so helpful and will get some in specially if you want.
