The Wilful played our wedding this year and they are a genuinely amazing band. They put on an incredible show and had the dance floor completely full from start to finish. Could not recommend them any higher and for anybody who is looking for a fun, energetic floor filler band these are the best. We requested a first dance song and they put together a beautiful version of it

The Wilful played at our wedding and were truly wonderful. From booking, to setting up on the night, and the DJ and Sax set, they were so professional and friendly. Our dance floor was full the entire night and we received so many compliments on the band. We definitely would recommend the Wilful to anyone!

From the first email sent to Michàel to the last song played the night of our wedding, you could not ask for a better experience! The lads played tune after tune and were so good the dance floor was full all night! I have no words to describe the energy they brought and every single person we spoke to mentioned how fantastic they were! There were even a few of our guests trying to convince engaged family members to get them they were that good! One of our favourite parts of the day thanks to the lads!

The best wedding band around! I cannot express how brilliant the entire band was from start to finish. I lost count of the amount of people who told us the band were class! We are still hearing about you today! From the drinks reception to ending the night with Taylor Swift for the bride, it was just amazing from start to finish! The Wilful were absolutely INCREDIBLE on our wedding day & night that took place in June, 2025. Our guests were blown away by their performance and so were we. We cannot thank them enough for entertaining everyone for the whole day from the drinks reception right down the to end of the night. It was honestly hands down amazing and we are so happy to have had them apart of the big day. I highly recommend anyone to book them as they’ll guarantee a fun and delightful performance 😄

What an amazing band!!!! We got married last weekend and The Wilful for putting on such an amazing show for our wedding. I've been to so many weddings in the past few years and I've never seen so many people on the dancefloor all night!!!! They played banger after banger!!! We've had so many guests raving to us about how great they were!! We enjoyed every moment of it and entirely blamed them for our sore feet and hoarseness the next day which was a sign of a great night! My voice is only just about coming back! I've heard of bands claiming to have the floor full all night but this is the first time I've seen it actually happen! What a fantastic night with a brilliant range of songs. The amount of guests who were saying that they'd have a rest after this song and another hit came on and they just kept dancing! If you're getting married book them for an amazing night!!

There are no words to describe how amazing this band are. They performed at our wedding recently and to say they blew it out of the park would be an understatement. Micheál and Dave sang at our drinks reception and the rest of the crew joined them after the meal and they even did our DJ set. Our dance floor was never empty and everyone came up to us to ask where did we find them. They are an absolute dream to deal with, nothing was too much for them and they were always quick to respond to emails. Contemplating divorce so we could do it all again! They were that good!!!

We had The Wilful play at our wedding this past December in Galway and they were absolutely unreal! From the first message, they were a dream to deal with—friendly, professional, and made everything so easy from start to finish. On the night, they were brilliant—non-stop energy and the dance floor was full the entire time. Great interaction with guests, and the atmosphere was amazing. Massive shoutout to Micheál, the lead singer, who also did the DJ set after the band. He kept the party going and the floor absolutely hopping until the very end. Since the wedding, so many guests have been asking for their details—they were one of the biggest talking points of the whole day! Everyone was raving about the music. These lads were lovely to deal with from the start, Micheál was brilliant in sussing what we were looking for for our wedding and my god did they deliver on the night! Everyone from guests to hotel staff commented on them being the best band they had heard at a wedding. Their stage set up is also very cool and makes the whole experience like a gig. We had so much fun with them, and they did a phenomenal job on learning the song for our first dance. If we needed to book a band again, we wouldn't hesitate to give them a bell!
