I recently got a job as a dental assistant which required I choose a local dental school get certified for Infection Control and Radiation Safety/Xrays. I took both these classes here and learned a lot! Dr. Ren was especially helpful as I just got Xray certified and she was a key part of my improvement in taking a FMX. I completed the 3-month Dental Assistant certification course, and Miss Alderete was an outstanding instructor. As someone entering the field with no prior experience, I really appreciated how she focused on hands-on skills and real-world knowledge. She was incredibly patient and took the time to make sure every student fully understood and could confidently perform each task. To add on, the small class size allowed for a lot of one-on-one instruction, which helped me feel more confident in my skills. I highly recommend Miss Alderete for this program as she truly puts herself in her students' shoes and is dedicated to helping us succeed as DA's.
The best school for taking corses for dental assistant. The staff are great and the Dr/instructors are Awsome. Had the privilege of having Dr. Renai and Dr. Van as instructors and couldn’t have asked for better once. I strongly recommend anyone to look into VSDA for all your corses dental assisting.
