Karl set up a clear home search based on what we wanted, kept us updated as new listings hit the market, and pointed out the pros and cons of each property without pushing us. Few things in life are as stressful as purchasing a house EXCEPT purchasing it from across the country. It was our great fortune to stop on the YouTube channel featuring The Steve Thomas Group-turned out to truly be a Godsend to us. Steve Thomas and his team are in an elite group of their own. The standard for excellence starts with Steve who truly looked tirelessly for the perfect house while never losing his mind as our minds kept changing back and forth. The Steve Thomas Group is a well-oiled machine. The experience of this whole thing (travel, Facetimes, searches....) were made absolutely painless because of Steve and his incredible team. Check out all of his super informative videos on YouTube. He is the real deal: excellent customer service, an unmatched work ethic, and a personality that exudes patience and support. We've purchased and sold numerous times. This was one time that we were actually sad to have the experience end! UPDATE 9/30/25 Steve Thomas just closed for us on the same house he helped us find two years ago. I can’t speak highly enough about his character, work ethic, communication…he is the epitome of what not just every realtor but what every working human being should aspire to be. Don't think for a minute that you can pick just any realtor to make one of the biggest purchases of your life. Not only Kristen was very patient with helping us find the home of our dreams, she is very knowledgeable and brought things to our attention that we would otherwise look over. Also, she recommended some great resources that were all very good such as our lender and inspector that made the entire transaction go smoothly. The entire team at The Tomas Group are very professional and they really know what they are doing! I've met plenty of realtors since moving to Las Vegas and I wouldn't choose anyone else.

I'll include the long story for those that are interested but long story short, Kristen is nothing short of amazing. I highly recommend her and will recommend her to anyone in the future. For the long story, when I first moved to Vegas the number I adopted was attached to some house on the market and I got 10-20 calls a day about this thing for weeks. I always just told everyone hey I just moved here, don't know what house that is and 95% of them that was the end of the conversation. A few people, one being Steve actually asked a few additional questions and he knew I had just got an apartment but I wanted to buy in the future. Of the ones that took down my info and saved it, Steve was the only one that ever followed up with me right before the end of my apartment lease. I wasn't ready to buy, but I told him I was interested in renting a house. He recommended me to Kristen to help find a rental. I rented over the last 5 years 3 houses through Kristen even after she moved to selling properties and she stayed consistent with me with follow-up which is something I appreciate heavily since I do also work in a sales job. I just closed today on my brand new townhouse and the first person I thought of when I wanted to start the process of looking into a house was Kristen. I've never bought a house let alone a new house and she guided me through the entire process, gave me great recommendations I'll be using in the coming months and I have no doubt she will keep in touch with me in the future. I am extremely thankful that she was there to answer any of my questions anytime. I will not hesitate to reach out to her first in the future if I need anything. A big thank you specifically to Kristen and the Thomas Group overall.

I happened upon Steve Thomas one day when I was randomly served one of his YouTube channel's videos. I contacted Steve and he was as personable, knowledge, and as ready to help as I was hoping he would be. The ensuing process of my wife and I making the final decision to relocate to Henderson, Nevada and getting serious about finding the right community and the right home for us took over two years. Steve was there for us, and with us, every step of the way. We signed a contract to purchase our new home without ever having seen it in person. We absolutely would NOT have done that without Steve being our eyes and ears (and videographer) on the ground in Nevada. We could not more strongly recommend a residential real estate professional! You will not be disappointed!

I actually found Steve by using ChatGPT to search for the top negotiator realtor in Las Vegas, because we had a tall order: we wanted ALL our closing costs and the buyer’s commission covered. Guess what? Steve delivered. Not only did he successfully negotiate that for us, but he also got the interior of our new home painted—hello, move-in ready beauty! Steve didn’t back down on anything. The seller had a list of repairs to complete, and thanks to Steve’s determination, every last item (including the solar heater for the pool!) got done. He genuinely listened to our “wants” list, honored our budget without ever making us feel limited, and matched us to the perfect home just outside of Sky Canyon. What really set him apart? He took the reins on everything. Lender, inspections, escrow—he had it all lined up like clockwork so we could just follow his expert lead (which we were more than happy to do!). As a fellow golfer and family man, we knew right away he’d get us—and more importantly, our sense of humor. Touring homes from North Las Vegas to Henderson, through the good, the bad, and the “wait… is that a moat?”—he laughed with us and never once made us feel like we had to filter ourselves. We are 100% thrilled with our decision to work with Steve and can’t wait to refer him to anyone who’s even thinking about buying or selling in Vegas. When it’s time for an upgrade, he’s the first one we’re calling.
