I ordered an old fashioned drink and it was served in a styrofoam cup! The waiter should have communicated that they don't use glass. Then we waited for over an hour an a half to get our food. Everyone that was seated after us was given their food first and we were ignored until we got up to leave.
If you go to Sloop, just know that they serve their "buddies" first, if you are new- prepare to wait and be over looked. Very unhappy with service- oh by the way, the 2 meals we ordered were kids meals. Very small and we still were put on the back burner.

The service was horrible. We were the only ones there in the outdoor dining area and it took over an hour to get our food. Our waiter was too busy socializing to take our order then when others came in their order was taken before ours. While we waited and waited other customers came in and was served meanwhile we patiently waiting.... Absolutely horrible. It should not take 2 hours to get sandwiches. We won't be back.
My wife and I agree...Great place! A nice get away from the typical Gulf chain eateries. Not a dive but definitely a place you want to come back to again and again. Under the bridge in Gulfshores.
The food was AMAZING! Philly Cheese off THE CHAIN. The Italiano, MAGNIFICENT! Ordered a few Dark and Stormy's...It was a rainy day, seemed like the right thing, it was GREAT.
We found this little hole in the wall dive bar after being in Gulf Shores for a week. Wish we had discovered it sooner. Food was delicious and the staff was super friendly. Had the Cheesesteak egg rolls and the Stuffed Shrooms, very tastey !! Beer was ice cold too. We will definitely stop in here again before we head back up north to Ohio.
