As a Beauty Therapist myself, I am really picky who I trust on my face, so after living 2 years with micro bladed eyebrows that were too dark and too heavy, I did my research, found Lauren, and I couldn't be happier. The thing is, this is a specialised treatment and you need both the right skills and equipment which many claim to have, ... but do not! Lauren knows what she's doing and she does it well. I cannot recommend her highly enough, if you need any form of tattoo removing, go see her. My natural brows are restored perfectly.
The first but definitely not the last facial!
I originally booked in for microneedling but due to an acne flare up and a conversation Lauren helped me navigate which treatment would be best for my skin, we opted for the Algae Peel which after just 24 hours I’m already seeing the benefits! Lauren talked me through what to expect from this facial and made sure throughout that I was comfortable and talked me through the next steps. It was a little tingly during the actual facial however it’s only for a couple of minutes and the results after just 1 day, my skin is smoother, pores have visibly reduced, and even acne scarring has faded, I’ve already booked in for my next treatment and can’t wait to see the results after that!
I’ve always struggled with my skin but the tips that Lauren has given me I can’t wait to try. Even just leaving the house today with no makeup now that my skin has calmed down after being red the first 24 hours I already feel more confident in.

I had a consultation with Lauren a little while ago and she was absolutely amazing. She explained the whole process clearly and gave really helpful advice and information. What stood out to me the most was that she didn’t pressure me into going ahead with any treatment, which made me feel much more comfortable and confident in my decision.
I ended up booking a full body session, and my first treatment was a great experience. Lauren made me feel completely at ease and was so easy to talk to. She uses a solid-state Nd:YAG laser machine, which I personally think is one of the best options, and I noticed a real difference in my skin after just one session. A lot of my hair wasn’t growing back, which was really impressive.
I’ve just had my second session after six weeks, and again, Lauren was incredibly helpful. She made me feel comfortable throughout and gave me great advice on how to maintain my skin after the laser treatment.
I would 100% recommend Lauren to anyone — I’ve already had family members planning to book with her! She also offers facials, and based on my experience, I have no doubt she’ll provide the same high-quality service. I’ll definitely be booking those next.

I can’t recommend Lauren highly enough. Over the years, I’ve had treatments and procedures from fantastic facialists, medical aestheticians, skincare experts, permanent make-up artists, and laser specialists - but, since finding The Skinician, Lauren is 100% my ‘go to’.
I have been undergoing sessions with Lauren for the removal of PMU lip blush liner and the results are incredible. This is a tricky procedure that very few professionals have the confidence to tackle, let alone the competence to achieve such a successful result.
I’m equally thrilled with the results from only one session of PMU eyebrow removal and can’t wait to be able to get new - better - brows micro bladed by Lauren.
In terms of skincare, the treatment I can’t stop raving about is The Skinician’s algae face peel. It’s chemical free, yet is able to penetrate the deep layers of the skin in a way that no other peel does. I’ve just had my second peel, of a course of three, and my skin already looks and feels like years of damage and ageing have ‘magically’ been removed.
Most importantly of all, Lauren is absolutely lovely. If you’re nervous, she will instantly put you at ease. She’ll be very honest in her advice about what you will and won’t benefit from and she’ll work at your pace, to achieve the results you want. She’ll never try to ‘sell’ or suggest something you won’t benefit from. Her salon is beautiful and you’ll always come away feeling great. ❤️
