“The Sett” is absolute perfection. It’s clear it has been carefully designed by Martine & Paul, with not a single detail spared. Staying there was such a luxury, and I’m still dreaming of the lush towels and bed that was like sleeping on a cloud. It was exactly the kind of haven I was needing, and the small touches had me feeling very cared for. The space is stunning and the finishes all great quality, the location is beautiful and in walking distance to shops and gardens, and it all felt very private and peaceful. The hosts were incredibly friendly, responsive and helpful when I reached out - passing on some great dining recommendations, and even catering to my dietary requirements with the delicious breakfast they prepared for me one morning (seriously above and beyond!). Couldn’t have asked for a better stay, and I’ll absolutely be back one day. Thank you for having me Martine & Paul!

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at The Sett. Martine and Paul are the best host I could ask for. They are very responsive, provide clear instruction, give the best, curated local restaurants and activities recommendations. The place is clean and decorated with beautiful high-end items -- truly a luxury stay. I can give them 6 stars, if possible. Could not ask for any better host. Highly recommend staying here if you are exploring the area or passing by.

We had a wonderful two nights at the property and completely enjoyed our stay. The area is beautiful and there are plenty of trails to explore. Our host Martine was very friendly, proactive and a wonderful host. While we had high expectations of the property, it exceeded those expectations.

We stayed at The Sett in Sassafras on the night of our wedding and absolutely loved it! The place was beautiful, modern, clean, and so peaceful. Martine and Paul were such lovely hosts and really cared about making our stay special. They even offered to deliver a continental breakfast in the morning and asked what milk we preferred, which was such a thoughtful touch. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and we can’t wait to return!

We had an amazing stay in Sassafras! The host was so welcoming and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The place was clean, cozy, and had such a relaxing atmosphere — perfect for a little getaway. One of the highlights was the breakfast they prepared in the morning; it was fresh, delicious, and such a thoughtful touch that made our stay extra special. The location was also great, close to beautiful spots in the area but still very peaceful. We really enjoyed our time here and would happily come back again. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Sassafras!

Martine and Paul were friendly and responsive hosts. Their home was lovely, clean, relaxing and cosy. They offered a lovely variety of snacks, coffee and drinks on arrival, as well as pre heating the home for your arrival. Local recommendations were perfect and extremely helpful. Be aware that there is no stove or microwave in the kitchen though. All other amenities were brilliant. Highly recommend their home for a quiet, peaceful getaway
