Wow! The Outcasters Improve Center is truly a gem in the City of Scottsdale. The director Joe Hammer is fun, professional, and makes everyone feel at ease. After just one visit, I knew I wanted to join the class each week. The other students come from all sorts of backgrounds, ages, and personalities. No matter who you are, you'll fit right in and be a welcome member of the improv community Joe has built. You don't need any prior experience or any sort of preexisting skills. Just bring yourself as you are and come have a great time! Bring a friend or family member for extra fun! You'll be glad you did!

Everyone in the class was warm and welcoming. I’ve been in a slump and I needed a good laugh and something different to get me out of my comfort zone. Nothing is easy and it was a great reminder of the 10,000 hour rule…the people that make it look easy have had plenty of practice! Can’t wait to go back and bring a brave friend or two!

First improv class ever and I’m glad I went. Joe creates a really comfortable, low-pressure environment that makes it easy to jump in even if you’re new. Definitely pushed me out of my comfort zone in a good way. Left feeling more relaxed and confident socially.

This is a fantastic way to get a feel for improv with positive, fun, and welcoming people who will make sure you have a blast! Joe is an amazing teacher and does great with positive coaching and keeping things fun and interesting. You will have a blast, 10/10 highly recommended!!

Joe Hammer is a professional motivational and corporate speaker who run the Outcasters. The two-hour class with 30 people was eye-opening. I had an absolute blast, I had previous improv training from a variety of teachers and Joe at out casters was right up there with the rest of them. The group was positive, supportive, and talented. I attended a learning session at Outcasters on Wednesday, and Joe did a fantastic job leading the class. It was my first time, so I wasn’t sure what to expect, but he walked us through each step with clarity and confidence. It was such a great opportunity to get out of my own head, try something new, and really stretch myself. Outcasters creates a welcoming environment for all levels, and Joe’s guidance made the experience even better. I recommend trying.
