My daughter recently attended the 5-day summer camp at Outcasters Improv and absolutely loved it! This was our second time attending over the years, and it’s amazing to see how quickly the kids pick it up and how genuinely funny they are. The showcase at the end of the week is such a treat to watch! It really gets them thinking on a new level, builds their confidence, and is overall such a great time. Highly recommend!

Very impressed. It was my 1st time trying improv - or any acting or comedy. Joe & the group does a great job with both new folks & experienced folks. There are plenty of 1st-timers every week, so don't be afraid. Performing is definitely not natural to my personality. If I can do it, then so can you. You don't get thrown into the fire all by yourself. It's gradual. I finally tried improv for various reasons - to get better moving conversations along, to think quicker on my feet, to get better bringing out my goofiness, and to learn about real-world improv comedy beyond the Comedy Bang Bang podcasting world. I'll be back.

I had the absolute pleasure of seeing The Outcasters perform on 4/18/25 in Anthem, Arizona. Each performer brought their own unique character to the show, and the chemistry between them was undeniable—like a group of best friends who also happen to be comedic geniuses. Their quick wit, timing, and fearless commitment to every absurd scenario made for a night of pure joy. The audience suggestions turned into spontaneous sketches that somehow felt both off-the-cuff and perfectly polished. They connected with the crowd and gave us a good laugh which everyone can use now and then!

I've watched Who's Line Is It Anyways on television, but have never seen an Improve show in person until I caught The Outcasters perform. Talk about live without a net! Totally unscripted and their performance was all based on audience participation and the suggestions thrown out at them. So impressed how quick they were and how they turned even a suggestion that didn't seem great into something hilarious. It was so good to laugh that my cheeks hurt by the end of the evening. I totally recommend seeing them perform. You will not be disappointed.

The Outcasters improv troupe delivered a hilarious and engaging performance in Anthem on Friday, April 18, captivating the me and the audience with their quick wit and creative energy. Steffany K shone brightly, stealing the show with her sharp comedic timing and seamless ability to elevate every skit she was in. The troupe’s diverse range of skits, fueled by audience suggestions, kept the laughter flowing and showcased their talent for crafting unforgettable, unscripted moments. Each scene felt fresh and dynamic, making it a night of pure, family-friendly fun.

Dopamine and serotonin at it's best! A total game changer, a life changer! When considering about taking an improv class , the first thought that comes to mind is: "Cool, let's have fun!" ...and Yes! you do have fun!... heck you do! But going beyond that, what I discovered and experienced first hand , was an amazing change on how easy and flowing I can interact now with the world that surrounds me, specially with my kids and my clients. Yes, the "Happy Hormones" release can be a "side effect" of Improv ; but that is not all you get from taking this class! The techniques learned at the safe classroom setting, just suddenly click either at home, at the store, at work etc! It is amazing how just few classes can help you not only on mastering your "reading people skills", but trains you how to think fast and to always have a good flowing reply! Loosing fear of judgement, fear of public speaking, fear of rejection ...fear/ fear/ fear / It's all GONE! I have to say , the Improve training with The Outcasters has really changed the game for me. My work presentations are becoming now more engaging which had result in more bookings for our business! It is amazing how just one small change and a wise decision of joining this class, can have such impact and effect in everything you do. Doors will open up for you, just as they are opening for me. The more I learn Improv, the more the world changes! ....wait! ...no, the world hasn't change.... I HAVE CHANGED! I have learned where and how to choose my battles and how and when should I react , or... when I should just listen! See? Improv class it's not just about a bunch of people trying to be funny ( if so, you are at the wrong class). Taking an improv class with The Outcasters goes to deeper levels of self growth , and it's benefits , which , I also call "side effects", are multiple and priceless! Very grateful instructor Joe Hammer has this magical way of making you feel safe , and brave, compassionate, smart , and fast ... and yes ... funny! ;) ..The teacher shows up when the student is ready! ...Are you? Big Thanks to The Outcasters!
