Nicque and Lillian have cared for my close family members twice now and on both occasions have been excellent. Whilst it is always sad to need them, it is comforting to know that they will care for your loved ones with compassion as well as with care. Thank you The Last Time.
My mum passed suddenly and it was a shock to all of us. With that was also the logistics of getting mum back to Sydney from Mackay. Lillian moved mountains for us to get her home in time for the funeral. Nicque held our hand through all the paperwork with patience and kindness and thought of all the little details for the day that we wouldn't have thought of. Nicque also was our celebrant on the day and everyone spoke of how amazing she was (we agree). Can't recommend The Last Time enough.

I buried my beautiful Mum last Friday with the amazing help and support of Lilian and Nicque. They were with me every step of the way. Even creating a WhatsApp group for my family.
Their compassion, empathy and professionalism is above and beyond. The funeral was beautiful and many people said to me - it was perfect.
They also did my Aunty's funeral last year. It was different from Mum's but equally amazing and supportive to the family.
They even took photos and a video for me as a little bonus.
I cannot recommend them enough ✨

I want to share my deepest gratitude for Nicque at The Last Time Funerals. Losing a very close friend is incredibly difficult, but Nicque was the best funeral director I could have ever asked for.
She made the service so personal that I just knew my friend would have been happy she was chosen to lead his farewell. She truly did him justice, ensuring he was remembered exactly as he deserved to be. In a time of such sadness, Nicque’s compassion and attention to detail provided so much comfort. I cannot recommend her and the team highly enough.

The staff at The Last Time Funerals approached the tasks of attending to our loved one with care and dignity. From managing the grave side service and the viewing, to coping with a late provision of our photo tribite, which they put together with music as a fitting tribute to my Aunt.
Nothing was a problem
The personal touch we felt from a privatly owned funeral service made us all feel we had honoured our beloved Aunt with the personal touch she so richly deserved. Sadly having attended many funeral services, I was able to appreciate the well managed and respectful approach taken.
It must be a very difficult task to manage all aspects of a loved ones passing and to do in a,respectful and caring manner.

We used The Last Time to conduct my late wife’s funeral arrangements. Directors Lillian & Nicque were exceptional with their professionalism and empathy during a very difficult time for my family. The care before, during and after the ceremonies were amazing. No request was silly or too hard. Very easy ladies to talk to and to even just have a general chat.
I do highly recommend The Last Time for anyone requiring these type of services.

In November, we unexpectedly lost our beautiful mum, and it was as something we all were not prepared for. Lilian and Nicque were so kind and compassionate throughout the whole process. They really listened to everything we had to say and took all of our ideas and thoughts into consideration. Mums celebration of life was such a beautiful day, and we had so many of her close friends and family tell us what a beautiful celebration it was (exactly what mum would have wanted). Would highly recommend last time funerals to anyone. They made such a difficult and hard time into a manageable one.
We can’t thank Lillian and Nicque from The Last Time Funerals enough for the care they showed our family. Their warmth, empathy, and beautifully down-to-earth yet professional approach meant so much during such an emotional time.
When we left the hospital after Dad passed, Mum quietly said, “Well, that was the last time.” Later, when we came across the name The Last Time, it truly resonated with us — and from our first contact, Lillian and Nicque honoured the weight of that moment with such compassion.
My dad’s farewell wasn’t a “traditional” service — he didn’t actually want a funeral — but as a family we still wanted to celebrate his life in a meaningful way. Lillian and Nicque completely understood this and encouraged us to think outside the square, supporting us every step of the way without pressure or expectation.
They also showed incredible care and sensitivity toward my mum. She and Dad had been married for 60 years, and you could truly feel that Lillian and Nicque understood the depth of that loss. The gentleness and respect they showed her will never be forgotten.
Their communication was exceptional, and the little check-ins along the way were so thoughtful and genuinely appreciated. Most importantly, the care and deep respect they showed for my dad was truly beautiful.
We highly recommend The Last Time Funerals to anyone wanting attention to every little detail, delivered with a truly personal touch.

I can’t thank Lillian and Nicque enough for what they did for my family and I during the hardest time of our life. My beautiful Mum passed away suddenly and they showed so much empathy, compassion and professionalism and really helped give Mum the celebration of life she deserved. As a guest attending a service yesterday, I was deeply moved by the empathy and professionalism shown by both Lillian & Nicque. They had taken the time to truly understand the family's wishes and the unique personality of person being honoured. The service was handled with such grace and sensitivity.
