I came away feeling two inches taller. Superb deep tissue massage and I felt safe in my therapists hands who was clearly highly trained and knowledgeable, particularly in understanding post cancer treatment needs. Having had exhaustive tests in the NHS, to discover why I was getting tightness in the chest on inhalation, through process of elimination, it was assumed my problem could be a muscular/skeletal one. The Heeler Centre is close to my home where I have had positive good results for other health issues, previously. I searched their website for the Chiropractor, who is Jen Wilson.
I quickly made an appointment and from the outset it felt we were on the same wavelength and I had met a kindred spirit. After a lengthy consultation and examination, she felt she could help me with my chest problem. This was music to my ears. I liked the fact that she was honest from the start, saying she could not guarantee results, but would review how things were progressing after several sessions. I left with a few physical exercises to incorporate into my daily life, along with some positive optimism.
After the second visit I began to feel improvement. With several more sessions of physical manipulations, I am now on the way to complete self-recovery. She has empowered me to recover, thrive, and sustain my wellness in the long-term.
I can not thank Jen enough for her help and compassionate care, not just physically, but mentally too.

I started going because of injuries and painful niggles - but now I go for care and prevention.

I've been a few times, firstly with injuries requiring physio and rehab - and now increasingly for maintenance and prevention.
I'm really impressed with each practitioner's skill and knowledge.
The main person I see now is Nilnate, the sports massage expert. She has loosened up just about every muscle and joint that's been stiff and creaking. I go once a month, because it's an essential part of my wellbeing.

I've had shiatsu treatments before with different people. Alison is very perceptive, kind and gentle. The treatments have been supportive and a wonderful holistic approach to both physical joint pain and menopausal symptoms, but also in times of mental and emotional exhaustion, overwhelm and trauma. It has felt like a really powerful integrated approach and often really helps to relieve tension and pain.

Alison Jones, Bowen technique, I have been seeing Alison over the last 5 months for massage on my back an neck, halfway through the month my back would go into spasm again, and then Alison offered me the Bowen treatment After my first session I was amazed that my back is no longer going into spasm and my second treatment after 2 weeks is amazing, I have suffered with this for 25 yrs plus and now to be able to have full movement again with no pain is truly remarkable, I would highly recommend the Bowen treatment, truly amazing for what it has done for me
