Before I visited, I read the reviews and saw how highly recommended The Fish Barn was. It was the nearest place to me with such great feedback, so I travelled 45 minutes to get there and it was completely worth it!
The service was amazing. The team genuinely cares about their fish and took the time to give me proper advice whenever I needed it. The tanks and fish are in excellent condition, and you can tell everything is really well looked after.
I purchased some lovely corydoras, and they are already happy and settled in my tank! I honestly wouldn’t get my fish anywhere else now because I know they truly care, and the staff were so friendly and lovely to speak to.
Highly recommend to anyone looking for healthy, well-cared-for fish and great service.

I have deliberately left this review for a month since visiting as , having been very disappointed with an alternative supplier of fish ( lost most of new stock and half of existing stock within a week or so) I wanted to see whether any similar fatalities would occur. Having been impressed with what I saw on my visit- clean tanks, well stocked with healthy looking fish- I am delighted to say that all 20 fish that I purchased are thriving. I would therefore strongly recommend the Fish barn.

Having visited this company for a few years as a delivery driver they always seemed friendly and now as a customer they exceed that. Helpful, friendly and experts in fish keeping.
A great range of stock with some rare fish and cool accessories. The website is great and easy to navigate with up to date stock lists.
The fact that it’s family owned and run is a plus as with most of the mainstream aquatic stores are often very geared around selling to anyone regardless but the guys at the Fish Barn care about the fish and customers.
Prices are very reasonable and cheaper than the normal fish shops.
Will return often.

After visiting several fish shops around the Crawley area and feeling constantly disappointed — dirty tanks, unhelpful staff, and fish that never seemed to last — I finally found The Fish Barn. The place is spotless, the staff are genuinely friendly and knowledgeable (without being arrogant), and both the fish and plants are in excellent condition. After a year of searching, it’s such a relief to find somewhere that truly cares about their livestock and customers. I’m really looking forward to heading back to The Fish Barn again soon!

Couldn’t recommend more! We have visited a few times for the materials for our new tank and have gone back to get our fish from there. Alan and Elliot are so friendly and extremely helpful & knowledgeable. The fish in-store are in brilliant condition and you can tell they are well cared for. We will be coming back for anything fish/tank related, pet stores cannot compare! Thank you guys

Me and my partner visited the fish barn today as we are looking for a fish tank and fish! Funny that....
We were greeted with amazing customer service and a warm nature from the owner and we have ordered a new tank and will definitely be getting fish from here.
We went to losts of different places in the day but decided to go with THE FISH BARN for the simple fact that they were nice, tanks were clean, everything was tidy and most of all me and my partner both walked away both saying "what nice people"
They dont only have a well presented fish shop but they also have a passion for it which you can sense as soon as you walk in.
See you very soon for our new tank and more ££££ spent!!!

Alan and Elliott offer a warm reception at The Fish Barn, with a beautiful array of fishes to choose from. They are very knowledgeable, providing tailor made advice depending on the home set up, recommending products to support the fish environment at home without adding pressure for a purchase. They are always super friendly when we visit, taking time to catch up with us (and other customers). Customer service and product knowledge are honestly second to none, I wouldn't go anywhere else for my fish needs.

I made an order with the fish barn. I was kept in the loop and I received prompt responses to any queries I had. I experience a slight mishap with the postage, as an admin error ment my order was sent to my billing address. Nonetheless I received excellent customer service, and a refund on the postage. All the fish arrive in fantastic shape and health and i honestly couldn't be happier.

I have not found a fish shop in Crawley until now that have great plants and livestock in fantastic condition. The holding tanks are in crystal clear you can see the water conditions are perfect and the plants the same.
Now my go to shop
