Had an amazing experience planning a wedding here - found their package to be exactly what we needed for a fusion Nepalese/American wedding. Really appreciate the freedom with vendors, communication throughout, and just general care throughout the process. Day of the wedding the staff we coordinated with were wonderful, and I was legitimately moved by how seriously the security they hired took my event. Would recommend to everyone turned off by “full service” venues who want the freedom to build out their own event!
The place is amazing. Great ambiance. Location is prime. Priced right for the number of hours that you are allowed. There were a few small things that I didn't care for but it didn't take away from the event and was not known to the guest. I would definitely recommend it. Parking is a challenge.
I love the Dumbo Loft. The staff were all amazing, before and during my wedding. My wedding was in May. The area is beautiful. The venue has a rustic look and feel. The time given for setup, the event, and takedown is beyond reasonable. I enjoyed my wedding dearly! I would recommend this place to anyone!!

I had the amazing experience of shooting a wedding as the photographer at this iconic venue. It was an incredible opportunity to capture moments of authentic Black love. The interior was absolutely stunning, and the rustic charm throughout made it even more captivating. I would highly recommend this venue!

This is regarding my experience as a vendor for Dumbo Loft Market. I've signed up to be a vendor 4 times. The first two were good, held at the original Dumbo Loft location. The venue wanted to then offer the pop-up every week (it was only held when the venue didn't have booked events), so they found a spot around the corner. I paid for two more days since I previously had a pretty positive experience. What was not mentioned was that the new location was basically a uncleaned garage with construction right in front, blocking foot traffic. It's not cheap to vend here ($150 per day) so the whole location change just felt like a money grab, that same day only half of the vendors showed up because no one agreed with the location. I brought up my concern, nothing was done, my emails were barely replied to. The worst part is that when I showed up to my final day (since I paid for two days) the pop-up was CLOSED. I emailed multiple times during the week to ensure the pop-up was still happening. I found it strange that they've been quite on social media and no one was responding to my emails asking them to confirm the pop-up was still on. Upon my arrival and the pop-up being closed (I checked both locations) I called, DM'ed, emailed, NO ANSWER. Luckily I paid with a CC so I was able to dispute but I have no heard anything since. Very unprofessional and unethical from a market that had so much potential.
My daughter had her wedding there. They were supposed to have some one meet her to open up.
Nobody ever came - at all. The door WAS unlocked, but there was nobody to explain anything. There was a flea market going on. The loft had promised it would be over by three (the wedding started 3:30) it didn't pack up until 7.
Surely they knew that would happen. It's a regular event (the flea market)
Also, there was NO sign. So you have an area where there's a forward market going on, a million people, no sign that it's the dumbo loft, and even the can drivers had no idea. On the West side parkway side there was a sign, but that door was locked up.
And you could only see it if you were on the highway.
I know it's a cheap rental, but a smidgeon of effort besides "give us your money and get lost" would have been nice.
