I saw a bike i liked, had a test ride and did a deal on it - just like a bike shop ought to be! Hassle free, easy to deal with and an enjoyable experience.

Taking the strain out of selling your own bike

I needed to sell a bike to create space. I admit that I did not want to try and sell privately because of concerns about dealing with people wanting to go on a test ride, people knowing my location and how my bike was stored, marketing and promoting the bike for sale and a myriad of other issues.
I did look at a few of the "We Buy ...." sites and they all came back with offers significantly lower than the price Daryl achieved. I was also inundated by follow up text messages and emails and calls.
I came across Cotswold Motorcycle Company by accident, and saw that they offered the opportunity to sell my bike through Them. After reaching out Daryl explained the service they provided including collection of the bike, a contract stipulating no money is exchanged unless the bike sells, and there is an agreed amount as to their commission. They have insurance in case someone wants to test ride, and have a professional business where the bikes are located.
Cotswold Motorcycle Company created content such as a walk round video which attracted around 400 views, listing on their own website, listing on other websites and social media platforms, basically providing a reach I would not be able to achieve.
They managed to secure a buyer in under a week of promoting it, and if I take off the commission I am still £1500 better off than I would have been if I used a "We Buy...." business.
I would definitely recommend their service to anyone, and if I want to sell another bike I would go to them straight away.
Bottom line is that as far as I am concerned they provided a really professional operation, they totally justified the commission taking into consideration all the heavy lifting they undertook, collecting, prepping, marketing and selling.
Anyone with a good motorbike who has concerns about trying to sell privately, do not want to feel ripped off by businesses offering to buy your bike, it's a no brainer.
Put a deposit on a bike after talking to daryl on the phone about one he had in stock,drove up the following Saturday for a personal viewing, it was exactly as described, I asked some questions and he answered brilliantly, paid for it there and then,he delivered it on time,perfect.

Travelled over 100 miles to visit and hopefully buy a motorcycle seen advertised. It was exactly as described and immaculate. Put up my bike in part-ex and Daryl offered very good price. Did the deal. Daryl was really knowledgeable and not at all pushy. The bike was delivered a few days later on agreed date and time and my bike taken away. Great service, very good range of bikes - highly recommended.
I recently bought a lovely BSA Goldstar from Daryl. Communication was prompt and efficient at all points. I was given basically a private appointment to view the bike and spent a significant amount of time there. All questions were answered. The bike was delivered perfectly on time in great condition. Questions post purchase have also been answered promptly.
