disappointed, The front desk James was rude. He exploited the our weakness of needing the table quickly as we need to rush to a show. We called to confirm that we can be seated earlier but we have to wait and drink at the bar for 50 minutes, and then be seated to a table at the entrance where the winter cold air keep on blowing. I would have happily accepted that table if he offered that table to me when I got there an hour before but trying to hustle customers are not ethical.
Visited on a very packed Saturday night. The ambience was elegant and I was certain this would be a quality experience. Ordered the ribeye
with mashed potatoes and spinach. Everything was overly
salted which ruined the meal.
The wine was not chilled and tasted watery. Service was adequate. My friend ordered the lamp chops which had a terrible
topping and were overcooked.
She could barely eat some of them. We are not people who create a fuss so we paid the bill and left. For the prices, the food should be much better. My friend mentioned the Stamford
restaurant served better food.
Will not be back!
The servers are very profesional and attentive. The steak is cooked to the temperature I request every time. Kudos to the cook. I've been served by Lysandra (my favorite), AJ, Edgar and Joey. I recommend the lump crab meat. As well as the wagyu filet mignon. 8oz just the right amount and full of flavor. Lysandra knows her menu items extensively
We come every year for Thanksgiving, this year we had spectacular service! Rob was our server and he was absolutely the best yet! He made our thanksgiving memorable and enjoyable! It was the thoughtful extra touches. He was very attentive, polite, and brought an electric energy (he was genuinely happy to be there). The food was delicious as always! We will be coming back based on this experience!!!
Love dining here! The food is great, always comes out timely and delicious. The service is outstanding. We've had the pleasure of being served by AJ, and she is absolutely the best. She goes above and beyond to accommodate our needs. She makes you the entire experience better. Will request her each time I come back!

Looked around places in NYC for a burger and drink at a bar. The Capital Grill really delivered. Service is so much better, staff friendly & helpful. Bathrooms were really clean and multiple team member asking if we need anything else. Wagyu & Wine was a great deal and glad I stopped by!
After attending the Radio City Rocketts Christmas special (which was fantastic)we walked over to The Capital Grille for a treat. And we were not disappointed. Rob (Roland) took care of us and guided our selections which included a couple martinis, the Butternut Bisque, Wedge salad, the Kona rub NY strip, Filet Mignon Oscar and asparagus; it was all excellent. Kudos to Melissa Trumbull, Managing Partner, you have terrific place. Thank you.
Had a superb birthday dinner at this location before heading to a great night of theatre. Rob’s lively service was a delight! If you’re a ribeye fan you’ll love the Chef’s recommended bone-in porcini rubbed with aged balsamic reduction… spectacular! To keep it light, we shared a divine spinach pear salad … a perfect meal enjoyed in a handsome and nicely lit atmosphere!
We reserved at this well known restaurant to celebrate my fiancés Birthday on Nov. 1st.
We were a party of 20 and the service and atmosphere were amazing! The food was good; however it was cold when it got to the table. We were also served a few bottles of large Pellegrino water that we didn’t order. Lastly, the tables were arranged apart from the other’s and it wasn’t decorated with confetti like I was expecting/promised.
