We hired the bottom area for a Hen Party! We had the most amazing time. Everything was so easy from beginning to end. From booking with Carlie to then organising with Will and his team on the boat. The team on the boat were great and really embraced 25 noisy hens. Would recommend! Thank you

I visited Temple Bar and Kitchen today while in Gozo visiting my dad and family. My dad is originally from Gozo, and I visit every year, as I will also be moving here shortly, so I was genuinely looking forward to having a lovely evening and enjoying the atmosphere.
The setting and scenery were beautiful, the live music was lovely, and overall it could have been a really enjoyable experience. Unfortunately, the attitude and behaviour of one particular waitress completely changed that.
The waitress was a short woman with dark hair tied back. She approached me from behind and asked if I was ready to order, but then immediately rushed off and was not particularly pleasant or welcoming. Another waitress then brought our drinks.
I could also see her outside in the area where we were eating, standing in the middle while using her phone, which I found very unprofessional. When my food was ready, she brought it over and slammed it down on the table. She then looked at me and said, “There is salt, but it might not work,” and walked away. If you are serving a customer, I would expect you to check that something is working before walking away, especially if you already know there may be a problem with it.
Throughout my meal, I noticed her constantly looking at me and giving me what appeared to be dirty looks. When I walked back from the toilet, she stared at me with a horrible glare. I honestly have no idea what her problem was or why she felt the need to treat me in that way. I had done absolutely nothing to her.
Because of this experience, I decided not to have dessert and did not order another drink. I left and went to Xagħra Square instead because I wanted to try and enjoy the rest of my evening.
It is such a shame because the scenery was beautiful, the live music was lovely, and the atmosphere was otherwise very nice. I still left a tip, despite how I had been treated, but unfortunately I would not recommend coming here based on this experience.
Whatever her problem is, I genuinely hope she sorts it out and finds God, because there was absolutely no reason for her to treat a customer with such hostility and unpleasantness. A little kindness and basic respect can make such a difference to someone’s experience.

Waited over half an hour for drinks to be served at the bar. Bartender was new and there was no one there to support them or help to make drinks. Asked for a refund and was told they didn’t know how to process one. Atmosphere wasn’t great either. Would not come back again.

A novel place to have a drink if your walking along the bank. Service was good and a welcome break during a long walk.

Fantastic spot for team drinks after work! Great views, a relaxed atmosphere, delicious pizzas, and a reserved space that worked perfectly for our group. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and incredibly accommodating throughout. The whole team loved it – we'll definitely be back! 🍕🍹🌇
