He was recently promoted internally, and your comments confirm that he is making a positive impact in his new position. Your praise will be shared with him and the relevant management team.

Regarding the sofa bed, the Superior King Suite does include a sofa bed, as advertised on Booking.com. However, no request was selected or communicated before arrival for the sofa bed to be prepared. Once the request was raised, our Front Office Duty Manager immediately instructed Thapelo to set it up and ensured that the necessary linen was supplied.

We acknowledge that the discussion involved considerable back and forth. Our records indicate that there were changing instructions regarding whether the sofa bed should be left alone, prepared by the guest or set up by our team, followed by further discussion regarding the type of sofa bed provided. This unfortunately created confusion, despite our team taking action once the request was received.

We are also sorry that you felt the matter would have been handled differently for another guest. Thaba Eco Hotel remains committed to treating every guest fairly and consistently.

For future stays, we kindly recommend communicating any specific sleeping arrangements before arrival. This allows our team to prepare the room correctly in advance and helps ensure that all requirements are met upon check-in.
