Let me tell you, this company is so nice!!!!! I had the best experience getting a quote for my boiler system which ended up not working out becuase I have oil and they only do gas systems but their sales technician was sooooooo amazing he helped me so much with just knowledge so I knew when my a/c unit went dead I was going to use this company. Today my a/c got serviced and the technician once again was so amazing and helped me so much and fixed my problem! Definitely recommend!

I recently had a great experience with T.F. O’Brien Cooling & Heating and wanted to share my appreciation for their professionalism and quality work.
On March 31, 2026, their team replaced my 23-year-old RUDD Central A/C serving the second floor with a new Rheem Central A/C system, including the outdoor compressor and an air handler installed in the attic. The installation was smooth, efficient, and very well organized. The technicians explained everything clearly, worked neatly, and ensured the system was operating perfectly before leaving. The new unit is running quietly and cooling effectively. ❄️
On April 1, 2026, they returned promptly to address my concern about the condensate pipe. They carefully resealed the pipe where it exits the attic at the gutter, ensuring proper insulation and sealing. This attention to detail was greatly appreciated. 👍
During the same visit, they also performed a tune-up on my first-floor older RUDD Central A/C, including servicing the outdoor condenser and attic air handler. The maintenance was thorough, and they checked all key components to help extend the life of the system. 🔧

Incredible company! Extremely service oriented. When I called to Schedule an appointment the AI attendant was beyond mind blowing. They completely knew me, whatever notes were in my account and it was as if I was speaking to an actual person. I’ve never experienced that with any other company. They quickly booked my appointment and have multiple measures in place to let me know when they’re coming, And wanted to know how they did. Highly recommend , very impressed

Very professional visit to determine estimate on installing new central ac system and providing opinion on condition and issues with current air handler water damage ( prior air handler NOT installed by TF O Brian but by a contractor after home remodeling 19 years ago).

I’m a Great Neck resident and called T.F. O’Brien for my boiler maintenance. They sent this guy named, Robert Badillo. I don’t know what this guy did but the maintenance required sign is still there and he turned off radiant heating for my floors and didn’t even inform us. My boiler is still showing “Maintenance Required” sign and they sent me $2 K estimate to “fully service” the boiler even though I signed up for the annual contract. They were suppose to get back to me to see if they can reduce the cost but still haven’t heard back from them..not happy
