My experience with Teradrive was amazing and I can’t recommend them enough. My hard drive failed due to some bad sectors and I thought I had lost my data for good (5 years worth of projects). I looked at all of my options available locally, and Teradrive was extremely professional and confident they would retrieve my data from the first interaction which was very reassuring. I also expected to pay way more than I did. I was quoted an extremely fair price with a free assessment (other places were quoting me for $100 alone for an assessment), and the turnover was very fast. They really did a great job in communicating with me through the whole process, and saved my hard drive with quite literally my life’s work. Thank you!

I cannot speak more highly of Ilya’s professionalism and expertise. I experienced a traumatizing experience of losing important data in my laptop (even with cloud backup). Most places I called told me they couldn’t help me or had low confidence, until one guy at a forensic data recovery place I called said Ilya was his “go-to for data recovery.” Ilya was so helpful and so professional! He was efficient and I could tell he’s a true expert. Their rates are also more reasonable than other places that quoted me (some quotes are ridiculous). Ilya is super ethical and insists that he wouldn’t receive payment unless data was recovered, which really impressed me! I was super impressed by their security measure too. You can tell that they are very experienced with dealing with high-security cases. I hope I never need this service again but fingers crossed if I ever need data retrieval Ilya would be the first person I call! I HIGHLY recommend him and TeraDrive Data Recovery!

I'm a teacher who got caught out with all my files on a flash drive that had a firm ware problem, and I was crushed. Severe depression, existential dread, and pure defeatism at the thought that I had lost over 1000 hours of work on my drive. I went to other data places, but TeraDrive had a lab in BC which I decided to go with. Other options included We Recover Data which doesn't even tell you on their site that they are located in Toronto. Anyways, I went to TeraDrive and they were prompt, gave me an estimate and got back almost all my lost files. I was also extremely satisfied and impressed with their customer service rep Ian Lavin, who would message me back right away, gave me support over email late at night, and was overall so very helpful. Thanks to TeraDrive and Ian!

TeraDrive is fantastic! I was only backing up on one drive for a while, and guess which drive died, taking a decade's worth of personal photos and vintage family videos that only exist digitally now. TeraDrive looked at it and told me they were confident they could recover 60%-90% of my data. Not everyone will have the same experience I did, but they managed to recover 100% of my data! I'm thrilled with their customer service. I dealt with Ian and was thankful for his patience while answering my dozens of questions about cost, payment, and process. I highly recommend this data recovery company! (And I now backup on three different drives)

My experience with Tera Drive has been extremely positive! -First personal contact by phone was almost immediate after leaving a message on the website, Ian was easy to understand, technical without any car salesman jargon, mentioned possible reasons for my drive's failure and possible solutions. -Follow up after receiving the drive at their facility was very quick, diagnostic done and recovery options easy to understand. -Two recovery options were offered with different price levels and different results to be expected, no pressure but a feeling of professional technicians being in charge. -Work done quickly, list of recovered files provided for review before having to make a payment. Cancellation at no charge could have still be possible at that stage. -The cost was what can be expected for highly skilled work, I did check one out of province competitor with a fuzzy website and even fuzzier sales person running what was nothing more than a local drop box, they quoted a silly price range with a high mark more than double what I have paid. -After payment the files were promptly transferred to a new drive provided by me and the package mailed at no cost for me. - Tera Drive is located in Vancouver, the work is actually done locally. -Lesson learned, files must be backed up and stored securely, I have paid the price for my carelessness and I realize it could have been much worse. Outstanding customer service! When dealing with an unexpected issue, IIya was there to assist my family and I. He offered continuous support throughout the three years I was a client of his. Due to a lack of programming for the specific issue that I needed help with, he was not able to complete the required task at first. However, he remained on the lookout for the specific program that I needed and years later, he emailed me when it became available. Soon after, he was able to return precious information to my family and I that had been lost for years. Because of IIya's dedication to his customers, we have received some of our lost photos and memories back from a phone that was locked.

After being disappointed by another company's inability to recover my data from the hard drive, I turned to TeraDrive as my last hope (because the surface of disk was damaged and it is unlikely to read it with a donor). A drive of mine died containing nearly a quarter century of memories (movies, shows, music, photos... home movies, home music)- not business data or anything, but the devestation feeling was just as real. After an online search I reached out to TeraDrive with my emergency. Ian called me back within minutes, even though it was already well into the evening. He talked me down from the ledge and treated my data with the same seriousness of a business' only database. Ian helped make arrangements with the drop off location for the next day. Even though I missed the pickup time for that day, he even made the his driver turn around and pickup my drive just for me, so they can start looking at it the very next day. By end of that day, I was given the good news that all my data was recoverable! They ran their process on my drive over the weekend and picked up my recovered data a few days later. I can't say enough great things about Ian and the team at TeraDrive! I was blown away with the level of customer service throughout the whole process (especially in this day and age).

I accidentally erased my 2TB Hard Drve, I almost had a heart attack, I had all my work and project of my customers that were waiting for me to give them their photos and movies. A friend recommended me TeraDrive Data Recovery, they bring back all my data, when I dropped them the hard drive first I was crying of my sadness, and when i picked it up, I was crying of my happiness, everything is back, even some of my projects. I deleted a file in my Mac and emptied the bin. Then proceeded to foolishly download a bunch of third party software to try to recover it (probably overwriting my own file in the process). TeraDrive couldn't recover it but they were so diligent and helpful. They showed me the files they were able to find (many) yet unfortunately the specific one I was trying to recover was gone. They went above and beyond to try. If I ever need this service again I would come to them. Thank you for trying!

Many thanks to the amazing staff at TeraDrive Data Recovery. They not only recovered my data 6 times faster than various competitors' quotes, but at 15% to 30% of the cost of those same quotes. Additionally, after being able to securely retrieve a portion of my data online way sooner than expected, I was sent an upgraded and higher capacity clone drive that allowed me to fire-up my workstation like nothing had ever happened. I would like to note that my HDD drive was severely damaged, I was given an incorrect "free" diagnosis from one of their competitors who held on to my drive for an extra week trying to hard sell me into paying an overpriced amount, and it cost me $$ to get the drive back so I could send it to TeraDrive, (so much for the "free" diagnosis). So happy I chose TeraDrive instead!
