Excellent Private Tour – Worth Every Cent
We found Taormina Transfer & Tour through ChatGPT while looking for a private tour in Sicily, and we are so glad we did. Giovanni was our guide and driver and was excellent from start to finish. After doing several long cruise-organised tours and returning to the ship exhausted, we wanted something shorter and more personal, where we could spend our time seeing the places that actually interested us. This was exactly what we were looking for. Everything was seamless from booking through to payment at the end of the day. Communication via WhatsApp was excellent and worked perfectly with our travel eSIM. Giovanni kept us informed about meeting, drop-off and pick-up points, and cleverly arranged these so we could explore without having to retrace our steps. Giovanni was punctual, polite, courteous, professional and very informative. He was attentive to what we wanted to see, never rushed us and shared plenty of interesting local knowledge along the way. There were no unnecessary organised shopping stops — our time was spent doing what we wanted to do. The vehicle was clean and comfortable and, importantly, Giovanni was an excellent and very safe driver. We felt completely comfortable and relaxed throughout the day. We saw everything we wanted to see and much more, without arriving back at the ship exhausted. The private tour was absolutely worth the money and one of the highlights of our trip. We highly recommend Giovanni and Taormina Transfer & Tour and will certainly be recommending them to our family and friends. Thank you, Giovanni, for a fantastic and memorable day in Sicily! A perfect private day trip transfer to Castelmola and Taormina
We're a group of five cruising on NCL Epic. We booked this private transfer to Castelmola and Taormina. Our driver-guide Mr. Costa is an absolute experienced driver. At the end of the tour he even offered us a quick stop of half an hour to see the city centre of Catania, which is very nice. We highly recommend this company. Professional and trustworthy!

Costa was absolutely amazing from start to finish he went above and beyond for us. I randomly last minute called and organised a tour around Sicily. costa was able to organise an amazing tour for us around Sicily and then through the tour my daughter and son got really sick and had high temperatures and costa rushed them to the hospital as quickly as he could, he helped translate the English language to the doctors , bought myself and kids food and drink while they were on the drip and then waited till the end took us to the chemist to get medicine and took us home again after an extra 2 hours he stayed waiting for us. I couldn’t have got through today with out costa.He was amazing and from the bottom of my heart I want to say the biggest appreciation thank you for everything Costa did for me and my kids today. We did a great tour of Castelmola and Taormina with 8 people. Pick up from the cruise terminal. Driver was excellent we felt really safe. Beautiful clean and spacious van. Easy communication with the company and driver in advance and for pick up times etc.

A great day trip to Mount Etna & Taormina
We are a group of 6 friends who arrived into Messina on Cunard's Queen Victoria. We had excellent communication from Maria who we booked our tour with & received a message from our driver Costa on the morning of our tour. Costa arrived early and gave us a friendly welcome. Our vehicle was a luxury Mercedes mini-van with great air conditioning & an extremely comfortable vehicle for 6 of us (and would accommodate 7 passengers). Costa gave us some great information about Sicily and answered any questions we had about the island. He is extremely knowledgeable & his English was excellent. Costa first took us to the base of Mount Etna for our first stop & the scenery was fantastic. He then took us to another area on Mount Etna where we were able to take a 20-25 minute 'hike' to the top of two volcanic craters. We continued our tour back down the mountain roads which Costa handled well before arriving at the entrance arch of Taormina where we spent several hours wandering the beautiful streets, consisting of boutiques & souvenir shops along with an array of restaurants. We all enjoyed tasty pizzas overlooking the bay. We messaged Costa who promptly picked us up at our drop off point & before driving us back at our ship he took us to the main square in Messina to observe the amazing astronomical clock tower. We would highly recommend this tour if you are visiting Sicily & hopefully you'll be lucky to get Costa as your driver. Thanks again Costa for sharing your knowledge & experiences along with your safe driving.

Benedetto was a great. Very clear with communication the day before our trip to Taormina. He was very prompt meeting us right off the cruise ship, and zipped us down to Taormina for the day. When we were done for the day we messaged him and he picked us up within minutes and brought us back to the ship. Smooth, efficient experience!

Day trip from Messina to Taormina
We enjoyed a lovely trip with Benedetto. He picked us up from the part in Messina and drove us to Taormina. He was incredibly professional and very kind - helping everyone into the van and offering cold water on a warm day. He waited for us in Taormina in case we wanted an earlier pick up, and he kept in touch throughout the day via WhatsApp. The ride was smooth, clean and very enjoyable. The price was excellent and great value for a group of seven.
