our 3 generations enjoyed our 5 days on the yaka in bora bora. we saw manta rays, eagle rays, sting rays, sharks (not scary), a large free-swimming morey eel, and los of tropical fish. captain charlie and cook morgan, a young couple, were great. in particular, morgan enthusiastically played various card games with the girls, ages 9 and 12, and helped them get comfortable speaking the french they had learned in their french-american school. charlie arranged for a ski boat to meet us twice, 2 hours each time. the instructor was great. the girls loved being towed (fast) on an inflatable tube. our daughter quickly learned to wakeboard.
It has been a wonderful cruise. The catamaran was spacious and very comfortable. Theo is an excellent captain and fisherman. Snorkeling, sailing, paddling, kitesurfing, fishing... every day has been different and amazing!

Allez-y, les yeux fermés ! Nous avons passé 12 jours en croisière sur le catamaran avec ma maman, mon mari et mes deux filles de 14 et 9 ans. Un des plus beaux voyages de notre vie, et surtout une magnifique façon de découvrir Huahine Taha’a Raiatea et Bora bora ! Merci à Jean Philippe d’avoir répondu à nos nombreuses questions concernant la vie à bord et à Charli (le capitaine) et Morgane (l’hôtesse) d’avoir su répondre à nos attentes, et surtout nous faire découvrir ces coins paradisiaques : sur terre et sous la mer… je vous en dis pas plus allez découvrir par vous-même, vous ne serez pas déçu !!
Our catamaran week with them (all around BoraBora) was terrific in all ways. They are expert sailors, and supported each of us 3 at just the right amount of independence while guiding us to amazing experiences without crowds- coral gardens, sharks, rays, octo, and more. All while providing delicious and beautifully prepared variety of healthy food. The boat was spacious, well maintained and appointed, and easy to hang out in all different comfortable areas. Our captains were fun and interesting, which we thoroughly enjoyed. It was so relaxing, yet we got great exercise jumping in the warm water and exploring motu multiple times each day. Highly recommend!
Une expérience unique pour découvrir la Polynésie par les mers. Marie et Philippe sont aux petits soins en permanence : on mange (trop) bien, les excursions et activités sont au top, la vie à bord très agréable avec cette super famille. Nous recommandons à 200 % si vous souhaitez découvrir la Polynésie autrement !
A really first-class experience. Nicolas and Leila aboard SV Yaka are skilled, knowledgeable & delightful. We saw and swam with whales, dolphins, and manta rays. We hiked and visited black pearl fisheries, a vanilla plantation, WWII cannons, and a rum distillery. Really the best charter experience we’ve ever had. Highly recommended.

Incroyable expérience sur le Mopea avec Théo et Philippe pour l’organisation. 3 jours à naviguer dans le lagon de Bora Bora et à faire tout les activités possibles sans frais additionnels. Nous avons été reçu comme des rois. Je recommande fortement cette expérience en catamaran beaucoup plus que d’être en maison sur pilotis.
Quand je reviendrai en Polynésie, c’est certain que je retourne faire un tour en catamaran.

We sailed for 5 days with one of Philippe’s boat (Monohuil with Capitain Guillaume and Marine). The experience was nothing but amazing.
Philippe helped us to find the perfect boat and itinerary and was really kind and helpful.
The trip was incredible. We got to know different places and sleep alone in remote areas. Guillaume and Marine were the perfect guests, very kind and we felt very safe in the boat at all times.
The food that Marine cooked was always amazing.
Recommend to anybody that wants to have a genuine experience in French Polynesia.
We stayed three nights on the Yaka with Danni and Adrien. We had a fantastic time. It was a perfect way to discover the Bora Bora lagoon. Danni and Adrien were very helpful, attentive and made us feel like home.

Nous avons passé en famille un séjour inoubliable grâce à Jean-Phi et son équipe. Les îles sous le vent sont extraordinaires et c'était un privilège de les découvrir par la mer.
Nous n'oublierons jamais tous ces paysages à couper le souffle, les sorties magiques en snorkeling, les visites de lieux typiques et aussi la pizza banane choco :)
Nos 2 filles (12 et 13 ans) ont adoré tous ces moments partagés et les nombreuses activités proposées. Une équipe au top, professionnelle et à l'écoute des désirs de chacun... Que du bonheur !

We have had such an amazing time on Kissanga with Francesco, Emilie and their kids Matteo and Elisa! We spend 5 days with this lovely family sailing around Fakarava. It was the absolute highlight of our month in French Polynesia. Thank you Philippe for connecting us to this wonderful family, definitely a good match!
A very friendly and warm welcome from the family made us feel at home from the very moment we set foot in their beautiful home. The catamaran was spacious, clean and comfortable. Every night we fell asleep in our cozy hut as soon as our head hit the pillow. As we had never stayed on a catamaran before, we had loads of questions about everyday life on a boat and sailing in French Polynesia. All family members were happy to answer any questions we had and shared lots of stories. They also taught us about Polynesian life, history and the flora and fauna of the Tuamotus. Emilie provided three delicious meals per day and we absolutely loved her cooking. Everyday we would do fun activities in the crystal clear water, chill on the boat or explore one of the many motus around Fakarava. Francesco showed us the beautiful pink beaches and lagoon, we went bird spotting and collecting shells with Emilie and Elisa, and Matteo showed us his freediving skills (even saved a pair of sunglasses that we dropped in the water!) and shared a fun wakesurfing session.
Other highlights include the diving and snorkeling sessions we did in the south pass. Francesco and Emilie showed us around Tetamanu village and Francesco and the kids took us snorkeling. We saw the most beautiful coral and marine life we have ever seen! They also arranged for the local dive center to pick us up from the boat and go diving. The coolest dive guide took us to witness the majestic wall of shark.
Looking back on our stay at Kissanga and our time in Fakarava, it truly felt like a dream. Thank you Francesco, Emilie, Matteo and Elisa for everything! And thanks to Philippe for the booking and communication :)
