We recently ordered a cake from Sweet Story Cakes and were really impressed from start to finish. The website had a fantastic selection, not only for decorative designs but also for cake fillings, which made it easy to create exactly what we wanted. The booking experience was straightforward and stress-free, and collection on the day was very easy. We also appreciated the clear cutting instructions provided. That said, the best part was definitely the taste of the cake. It was absolutely delicious, and so many of our party guests went back for a second slice , which says it all really! We’ll definitely be ordering again.

We needed a magical cake for our Granddaughter’s, Felicity, 5th birthday . We chose Sweet Story and they delivered on point. Felicity’s face beamed with joy when we opened up the box to show her. The Mermaid cake was the centre piece at the party and everyone remarked on how tasty it was. Thank you ❤️

Ummy made a celebration cake for my husband's 30th - it was absolutely beautiful, really elegant, and delicious! The icing was incredible and the cake really soft and moist. Collection was also really easy. 100/10. We will definitely be back for future events.

From my first message to all the way to after the party, the service & quality from Ummy at the sweet story has been second to none! Ummy is a lovely and very talented lady! The cake I ordered was perfect, highly aestheticly pleasing and the taste...absolutely out of this world! I have 3 children & for each of their birthdays I will be hoping to have their cakes made by Ummy! Advice & aftercare was fantastic. Finding the shop & on site parking was a breeze. The cake was presented beautifully and secure, it was even carried out to the car for me! The whole experience from start to finish was calm & relaxed 😌 Thank you so much, see you soon! 🎂

I ordered a bespoke cake from Sweet Story for one of my clients, and the experience was exceptional from start to finish. Ummy worked extremely quickly to take the order, create the design, and have the cake baked and delivered- all within a few days, with such professionalism and care. The cake itself turned out amazing- beautifully presented. My client was extremely happy and even commented on how incredible it tasted. I really appreciate how efficient and accommodating Ummy was. Ummy made my two tier wedding cake, covered with climbing flowers; the top tier was Victoria sponge and the bottom tier was lemon. It was BEAUTIFUL and exactly what I envisioned. Everyone commented on how gorgeous the cake looked and tasted. The following morning, all guests sent me a photograph of themselves eating a slice for breakfast - it was just delicious! We also had a guest who is a celiac and Ummy was able to cater to this, making six stunning cupcakes, designed to look like flowers in bloom, with little green leaves (art); the cakes all matched the colour scheme of the flowers at the wedding and Ummy used images I’d sent as inspiration to make sure all cakes were how I wished them to be. Worth noting that the cake also arrived to the venue on time.
