Straight forward disconnect of gas stove cost $448. 2 plumbers on site for 45 minutes to apparently test for any gas leaks then disconnect and plug the line. Would only price the job once they turn up, so either take it or leave it and wait days for another plumber to come. Work completed was fine but $450 is excessive. Would have expected something around the $300 mark

Heck talk about expensive well overpriced, just a warning always get a second or third quote.
We have no call-out fee. We come out, have a look and give you a free quote, so you have the choice. You weren't charged anything for us to come out and quote, and if the price doesn't suit, no hard feelings.
We're not the cheapest plumber in Perth. Our prices reflect licensed tradespeople, quality materials and work we stand behind.

I had my toilet cistern replaced and taps in the laundry. Devann and Savannah came to do the work. They did a really good job. Took away all rubbish, were very clean and didn't leave a mess. They came spot on time and were very professional and polite. I also had really good follow up contact letting me know when they would be coming. Regarding the quote, I was offered 3 options, which was really good. I need some more work doing and won't hesitate to contact them again.

The team at Swans took nearly a month to let me know they wouldn’t be able to do the job and provide a quotation. I only found out because I called to follow up—they hadn't responded to my emails or reached out at all after the initial site visit. I hesitated to call earlier because the site inspector mentioned they were busy and I didn't want to be pushy, but waiting turned out to be a mistake. It was a very disappointing experience that wasted both my time and money, especially since I am paying rent on the commercial space. Now I have to start from scratch to find someone else who is actually reliable and interested in taking on the work.

After the site visit your job sat in our system waiting on me, and I didn't get back to you. Our system then closed it off automatically, and when you rang the office that's what you were told. Nobody had explained that to you, and you shouldn't have had to chase us to find out.
I know you're paying rent on the space and a month lost on a fit-out matters. What happened was a gap in how I handled it, not a reflection on you or the job. I've been through where it broke down so it doesn't happen to the next person.

Both plumbers Sarah and Savannah were friendly and efficient in their work. I was kept up-to-date with their time of arrival which was prompt and as agreed. All in all excellent firm to deal with.
Had a leak between meter and house, called Michael and he came out promptly, assessed the situation went to purchase required parts and returned to complete repairs. Quality of the service was good and the problem has not recurred.

Thanks for the feedback, Madhu, and I'm sorry about the delay getting you the separate invoice. You asked twice and it should have gone out the first time. That one is on me, and it is now with you.
On the leak, we came back out at no charge and tested it two ways. We marked the water meter and watched it for over ten minutes with no movement, and put a pressure gauge on the line which held without dropping. The pipework is sound. What you are seeing is the wall still drying out from the original leak, which had been running about three weeks before we were called, and brickwork takes a couple of weeks to dry.
