I thought my dog Harvey was beyond help at almost 8 years old - restless, unruly on a leash, and dog aggressive. After only a few sessions with Jeff and Kelly, he is a completely different pup. Jeff is teaching my husband and I to be the leaders of the pack and gain respect and trust from Harvey without using treats or prong collars. Harvey is calmer and much easier to walk on a leash - he used to bark and lunge at other dogs - now he barely makes a peep. Harvey and I have started rebuilding our relationship - we are becoming best friends again. If you want to change the relationship between you and your dog, Jeff will get the job done.

Miracles are happening! Our dog came to us as a foster, & we needed help. As a family we were all over the place with inconsistent commands & no coherent strategy. Jeff has helped us develop a coherent plan & the consistency to communicate effectively with Hazel. I'm so grateful that he comes to our home in Tucker near 285 for training sessions. The in home training makes all of the difference. We're doing so well!

Jeff has been a life changer for me and my pup. I’ve rescued my dog, Zu, about a year ago and we’ve had issues with separation anxiety, barking, not listening, and so much more. We’ve been training for 5 weeks now and I’ve already seen such a big difference. Jeff explains the training in ways that you don’t only listen but truly learn it. Understanding that the training is for you more than is for the dog. Your actions will dictate the training and your relationship with your dog. We absolutely love Jeff! He worked with us to train two of our dogs - an aggressive ACD/German Shepherd mix and a stubborn Schnoodle. After training with Jeff, we feel like we have two new dogs and we are so grateful. Jeff cares about the dogs and the owners, and really puts effort in to make sure you as an owner know what you need to do to have your dog listen to you. Working with Jeff saved our ACD/GS's life. He taught us what we needed to do to train out the bad, aggressive behaviors. We're having a baby so we are pausing on training for a while, but we feel so much more comfortable having two dogs with a baby than we did before meeting Jeff. Over time, Jeff feels more as part of the family than just a dog trainer. He worked with us not only on the aggressive and stubborn behaviors, but also on making sure we were prepared to have a baby and how the dynamic with the dogs will change. We cannot recommend Jeff enough!

I 100% recommend Jeff for any needs that you may have with your furry loved one. My little Aussie/Border Collie mix Layla needed some help with manners and anxiety she is extremely high strung, and I love in a town house with no yard, not to mention she didn’t listen very well… and I was to the point that I was going to rehome her, but I loved her very much!! I was at Dog City Bakery get food and some chews and asked if they knew of any trainers in the area, He gave me 2 cards, the first one I called was Jeff, He showed up and was all business right from the start and to my Layla obeyed him right from the start. Jeff did an amazing job helping me get him to a place where she can make smarter decisions and be the confident little lady, I knew she could be. Honestly, I probably needed more training than Layla, but we won’t talk about that!!! Jeff did an amazing job for 8 visits now it’s on me to work with her on a regular basis!! If you’re looking for a trainer, look no further. You won’t regret it!

I have a French Bulldog. He was very stubborn/hyper at first, and I couldn’t seem to get him to stop jumping on people. Jeff taught me and my dog something I couldn’t get anywhere else. I needed a trainer to help me with my rescue who has extreme separation anxiety and I researched and weighed philosophies for weeks until I came upon Superior Dog training and the search ended. Jeff's methodology is amazing and he taught me many techniques that have helped me greatly in dealing with my fur baby. Another amazing element of his training is his leash which is nothing short of sheer genius. I can now handle my little furry reincarnation of Houdini whom has defied many laws of science and I never thought this possible. He has worked miracles for us and I can think of no words that could possibly thank him properly except I recommend him too anyone I meet or know that is seeking the services of a dog trainer, not to mention his leash, my research really came through and both Bobby and I are very grateful!!!

Jeff was an amazing trainer! I had Lucky for a year and then started acting outrageous. I decided to contact Jeff since it got to the point where he would bark at everyone in public. Jeff is amazing! We have a Berne doodle named Bentley. Jeff started working with us when he was a puppy. Bentley was wild, not entirely house broken, full of energy, and escaped his crate like Houdini. He was a sweet dog but not easily managed, especially because of his size. Jeff worked with our entire family and trained US to work with him. We were blown away with the rapport and immediate demeanor of our dog right from the first day of training. Jeff is truly the dog whisperer. Bentley was calm and although a little stubborn, did everything Jeff told him to do. We learned how to make him a happy crate dog (which he now loves), not bolt out the door when the door opens, sit, stay, go to his place when we need him to be out of the way, sit and be patient (especially when waiting to be fed- this was a huge help!), and go to his "house" or crate on command. It took a lot of work and commitment on our part to maintain consistency, but it has been truly worth it. Jeff makes each visit helpful, and he breaks down everything for you. You only are given one thing to work on at a time. You must do your "homework" during visits to practice with your dog. If you do not have a lot of time that week to work with your dog, Jeff can absolutely tell. He knows the amount of progress that the dog should have made with enough practice. We cannot say enough great things about Jeff. He is very knowledgeable, personable, professional, and prompt. We will use him again if we ever get another dog. He built a great working relationship with our whole family, including our two sons. He worked with the kids as well to teach them ways to handle Bentley. He even goes beyond the rules and training but also gives you information and ideas to keep your house safe for pets. I can go on and on about Jeff and how much he helped our family. Our dog is now a more civilized member of the family. People tell us all the time that he is so well behaved. When we picked him up from the groomers a few months after we worked with Jeff, they asked if he had been through professional training because they could tell. When my dad got a new puppy a few months ago, he called me and asked who our trainer was because he was impressed with how well-trained Bentley is. He just started his training and called me after Jeff left and could not believe how his dog acted with Jeff there. So, if you are on the fence about dog training or are not sure which company to go with, choose Superior Dog Training! I promise you will NOT regret it!

Jeff does an amazing job with training! He helped my boyfriend and I and our freshly adopted dog. She came from the shelter anxious which made her aggressive. After 2 weeks of having her we decided to go through with dog training and I’m glad we did. He is so patient and kind with our dog. I highly recommend him if you’re looking for someone to train your dog!

My girlfriend and I adopted our 50lbs boxer mix and right out the gate she was aggressive and hard to control. Jeff really helped us reign her in and showed us how to actually modify her behavior and not just teach her a few tricks.
