Great event - Lakes 2026 Excellent event. The volunteers and marshalls were great, really supportive and friendly. The venue was outstanding, both for facilities for camping but also just a stunning location. Well set up. If anything could be better it was the SUP water entry. We booked board hire for 8am but it was about 9.45 before a board was available (and it wasn't the best) so we were stood around a long time. That didn't detract too much from a great event. friends who were there supporting are fancying a go when they saw it wasn't the Olympics and all shapes and sizes were doing it.

Super fun event This was my first event of this kind. It was a shame the paddleboarding didn't go ahead, but safety must come first. The bike and run route were really good. The cycle route could have been slightly better signposted. Overall this was extremely well organised and all the marhalls/helpers were welcoming, helpful and made the event a success.

Fantastic first adventure triathlon! Really great event! The MTB course was perfect for testing out my new gravel bike and gave it a proper challenge. The run was equally enjoyable, with a well-thought-out route that kept to the shade—ideal for the conditions. Although the wind was a bit strong, it didn’t take away from the overall fun. Highly impressed and would 100% recommend this experience!

GREAT FUN, AND FRIENDLY EVENT Well run as usual. I camped at the event which makes it more exclusive. Very well organised with great registration area and transition area. Unfortunately missed the paddle board this year.Very windy and I get the risks involved. The cycle route more than made up for it , what a gritty route for the road event . You certainly earned your lovely medal. Very proud of it, even if my chip didn’t work and showed me a DNF. But photos and medal and freebies to prove it.

Incredibly friendly and well-organized! Everything about the event was fantastic! The atmosphere was incredible, the team was super friendly, and the whole event was flawlessly organized. Excellent event Excellent event! Really well organised- great pre event info communicated via email. Lovely setting. Really enjoyed the mountain biking route- something abit different than just road but great to have the option of both. Loved the cold drink at the end :)

Insufficient hydration and support Not enough water stations on both the bike and run courses made it very challenging to stay hydrated, especially in the heat. This was frustrating and impacted the overall experience, as hydration is critical in such events. The bike station placement was also inconvenient—on the wrong side of the road and uphill. Additionally, there weren’t enough marshals, which added to the disappointment. Having trained hard for my first event of this type, I expected better support, and this left me quite let down.

Great event with lovely people. Great event run by lovely people. Pre event com's were excellent with every piece of information you could possibly need clearly laid out and sent across meaning there were no surprises once at the event. The Roadford Lake location is a perfect setting to act as host. Easy access to the water with biking and running trails right on the door step. A really great experience and now want to go and tick off the other locations to complete the set.

Fantastic event! Another great, well organised event. Unfortunately the weather was too bad for the SUP but we were able to double up on the other events and I loved the mtb part especially doing it on the gravel bike! The master class on the Saturady was also interesting and informative and thanks for the free beer 🍺. It will definitely not be my last event and I look foward to the next one! Thanks again

A brilliant weekend in Devon Such a friendly event and everyone was so supportive of each other. Although the SUP had to be cancelled for reasons beyond your control, we thoroughly enjoyed the SUP session that we had on Saturday morning with Chris..such a friendly and helpful chap, with some great tips for manoeuvring the board. One improvement on the road bike course would be to use a can of fluorescent spray paint to highlight the pot holes, some of which were quite deep. Overall a great weekend, great camaraderie in the campsite and throughout the event and I can't wait for next year to have another great weekend adventure. Many thanks to the organisers and the whole team of Marshals.

Really well organised event. A really well run event with loads of friendly marshals. The sup taster session run by Emily was pitched perfectly. She looked after us newbies very well. I had one issue with a sign on the bike course I missed and went the wrong way! Quite technical MTB course. Overall one of the most fun events I think.

Will be back to complete the whole challenge We had wonderful weekend as first timers of SUPBIKERUN. Sad we could not paddle on the day but understand the reasons. The organisation could have been better regarding cancelling SUP on the day & sometimes pre event there was not enough info. Having said that, now we have done it one we now know what to expect. The brilliant part was how fabulous the atmosphere was. Everyone was supportive of each other & it was very family friendly. The volunteers were five star. I’m inspired to try again as it’s currently an incomplete challenge.

Great fun challenge Well organised and a fun, relaxed atmosphere. Lots of support for participants. The addition of the relay is a great idea too. It would be good if there were more SUP classes in the afternoon on the saturday. This year SUP yoga was the only option or the land-based class, when it would have been nive to get out on the lake.

An excellent weekend This was my first SUPBIKERUN, and I enjoyed every minute of it. The organisation was great, and the atmosphere was brilliant - it made it feel like a real family occasion.
