As my mother had fallen ill, I set up arrangements with Sunshine Cremation in advance of her passing. What a blessing that was. Everything had been handled in advance with such care and compassion. On the day she passed, I just needed to make one call. I didn't have to worry or try to figure out what to do. Lily had taken care of everything. She made me feel cared for in my time of need. I can not say enough good things about Sunshine.
I contacted Sunshine Cremations on Friday 1/23/2026 and spoke to Lily. They had appointments that day but squeezed me in at 11:30. I made arrangements for my wife who was in very late stage Alzheimer’s disease and my self as pre need. Lily was very kind and helpful I told her I wanted 10 death certificates and she said that is a lot; I said ok 8 and nothing less. I was on my way back to work by 12:30, so much easier than buying a car. Little did I know I would have to use their services as early as 1/26/2026 as my wife passed that morning. After Hospice nurse came and did her assignments a pronounced her dead we called Sunshine Cremations and they were here within the hour. The gentleman, was very professional, that came explained what he was going to do, and said it disturbed some people and that we may want to turn away, we did not and he was very respectful. I picked up her urn a few days ago and Mark spoke to me and gave me some very good advice about traveling out of the country and benefits I could receive when I am fully retired. I told Mark that I wanted him to know how pleased I was with their service. Highly recommend Sunshine Cremations.
Sunshine Cremation was a true blessing during one of the most difficult times our family has ever faced. Lily and Mark were exceptional, but I worked mainly with Mark, and his compassion truly surpassed our expectations. From the very first conversation, he was kind, patient, and understanding, which made an overwhelming situation feel a little more manageable.
We were specifically looking for simple cremation services, and Sunshine Cremation provided exactly what we needed—clear, straightforward, and at an affordable price, without ever making us feel rushed or pressured.
I don’t have enough words to express how appreciative my family and I are, especially my mother. This was for my father—the love of her life—and the care and respect shown to us during this process meant more than we can ever say. I will always be grateful for the kindness we were shown during such a painful time.
I can’t thank enough Sunshine Cremation Services, and Lily in particular, for the compassionate and professional care they provided during my mother’s passing. From the first contact to the final details of the service, they were patient, respectful, and truly went above and beyond to make everything as peaceful as possible for me, specially considering that I was out of the country. They handled every aspect with dignity and kindness. I’m deeply grateful. Highly recommend.
These are the kind of people you hope to deal with during a difficult experience. Knowledgeable, compassionate, and quickly available by phone and email. Mark, Bailey, and Lily guided me through the process, and it went as smoothly as it should. At the time of death, they were there within an hour and treated everyone respectfully and with gentle care.
I am incredibly grateful to Ljiljana Radojicic and Sunshine Cremation Service for their extraordinary human care and support during a very difficult time. She went far beyond what was expected — ensuring my father’s documents were handled properly and providing excellent guidance throughout the process. Her kindness, understanding, and personal attention made an immense difference and gave me real comfort. She truly stands out for her compassion and dedication. With gratitude, Julia Souraev!🙏🏻
We contracted with Sunshine Cremation Services when our mother went into hospice care. They were very understanding and careful with explaining the details of the process, knowing how emotionally laden it can be. When the moment came, they took charge of all the arrangements, enabling us to focus on personal issues. Their pricing was very reasonable as well. (There are different levels, of course; we chose the most basic, according to our mother's wishes.) When we went to pick up Mom's ashes, I felt the process was a bit casual, without a certain seriousness one might expect , but on the whole we were very glad to have Sunshine handling everything.
Friendly service. I'm not sure why I got a decorated urn with ashes. Perhaps we asked for that, but I found it hard to know what to do with it. It is not recommended to scatter human ashes over the ground, sand, or in water unless you're three miles out to sea. Neither Karen nor I was religious but still....My father died when I was 7 and our mother told us the small box on one shelf was Daddy's ashes. I used to worry if the place was on fire, should I try to save it.
