our visit to Stratton house was everything we expected and more the garden is so quiet and peaceful and a sun trap the hot tub was well used on our visit and bigger than others we have stayed in. the house is actually alot bigger downstairs than it looks on photos as is one of the bedrooms which is huge my daughter claimed that Room overall the host was really friendly and met us on arrival showed us around explained things and given us recommendations for pal es to visit although it feels you are in remote countryside you are actually ten minutes from Filey and Filey animal and bird park and 20 minutes from Bridlington beach, and model village and 20 minutes from sewerby hall and gardens all worth a visit.we will definitely be back to stay again.
We had a brilliant short break, it was exactly what we needed to unwind and spend time as a family. The house was immaculate and spacious, super comfortable beds, best hot-tub ever, and lots of little extra’s that were really appreciated. We definitely recommend and will be back. Missing it already!!!

We had an excellent family stay at the property. We were welcomed to the property by the hosts, and the wood burner was running so it was nice and toasty on arrival. The hosts had also kindly provided some tasty home made biscuits and muffins.The property is spacious, well equipped and well maintained.Burton Fleming was ideally situated for us for days out (Hunmanby gap, RSPB Bempton Cliffs, Burton Agnes Hall, Sewerby Hall). The village has a duck pond as well as a play area, which were ideal for exploring with a toddler.

No complaints! Beautiful peaceful village. Reasonable drive to beaches and we saw actual đź¦. Would highly recommend if you’re looking for peaceful surroundings. Local pub appeared closed but we haven’t investigated if seasonal/ long term or not. Xmas decs in the property a lovely touch

We had a lovely stay here for a long weekend; it was a great base to spend time with family and visit the beach. The host was very quick to respond to messages and welcomed us to the property with a delicious cake baked for us to enjoy. We found everything clean and tidy and well set up for staying with dogs with a fully enclosed garden where they were safe off lead.

Lovely spacious house with a very good layout . My kids could go in the snug when they wanted to get away from us and play on their devices watch tv etc. Three bathroom with one near the back garden is very handy and lovely sunny garden area that we could all enjoy . Also was safe for our dog enjoy safely. Rebecca was a great host and very helpful and communicative.

Superb cottage with a lovely modern interior! The house is much larger that it appears in photos and the kitchen area is great for entertaining. The interior of the house is modern while still keeping traditional. The location is perfect with numerous beaches 10/15 minutes away and Scarborough and Filey not much further than that. Rebecca was great at keeping us updated on the check in process and was on hand at all times if we had any questions!

Amazing space,gorgeous decor! This house is really amazing, we stayed with our 2 young daughters (4&6)and my mum and we had a great time, the space is amazing,far bigger than expected and could easily accommodated 6 adults- it is very stylish and the layout is great. The location is great, you can get to beaches and seaside towns within 10Minutes and you are spoilt for choice in terms of great stuff to do with the kids in that part of Yorkshire- Steph is great and so accommodating, would recommend 100%
We stayed in Stratton house for a week to celebrate a significant birthday for my wife. The house was ideal for us as we were a group of 4 adults with pets and we has another 2 guests for one night. Stratton house is in a quiet little village which is ideal for travelling to the local beaches and towns nearby. The house is spacious and we felt it was like a home from home with all of the comforts you’d expect and more. Rebecca and David, the owners are so helpful and really made us all feel welcome. We would highly recommend Stratton house to family and friends.

What an amazing place this is! Perfect mix of open plan for a social evening meal combined with enough separate spaces to give everyone some space to relax! Lovely garden too! The bedrooms are spacious, beds very comfortable and bathrooms excellent. Good facilities for an infant too! Locally, there isn’t a great deal, unless you really need two duck ponds within walking distance (which our one year old loved) so you’ll definitely need transport to get around/survive! Burton Fleming is a quiet little village with good access to lots of coastal places, Bridlington, Filey, Scarborough, Whitby, and then inland only an hour away from York. All in all, we loved our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to book again!
