Hire these guys. Straightline Roofing repaired a couple of areas on my roof that had been leaking, and I’m so glad I chose them. I got multiple estimates and went with Straightline because they came across as honest and professional. They absolutely delivered!!
I liked that they didn’t try to oversell me on anything I didn’t need. The work was done beautifully. Phil, the foreman, was especially thoughtful and made sure I felt comfortable throughout the process. The entire team was fantastic.

I worked with Kyle he was Excellent explaining what I needed for repairs and provided me with clear pictures of the damage. I needed valleys and crickets cleaned plus some vents replaced. The roof also had a lot of moss that needed to be scraped off. His crew came out and completed all the work in one day. They were friendly, neat and cleaned everything before they left. During the next rain, I noticed the gutter overflowing. I called Kyle and he was out here in 30 minutes fixed the problem and all has been well since. I did get three other estimates, but went with straight line because their prices were very reasonable and they let me pick and prioritize what I wanted to fix.
( Only pay for what you need) Street line does a lot of work in our neighborhood and I talked to other homeowners and they were all satisfied with the work they received. I have been happy to recommend them to my friends.

Straight Line remains consistent for top quality service! A month ago (2025) Gary came out to do a complimentary roof inspection and estimate for a gutter guard install to keep the Fall leaves from filling up the rain gutter. He was very personable and gave me all the information that I needed to make the purchase. Personable and helpful Kyle within weeks came out to the install doing an excellent job along with complimentary cleaning and checking another gutter not draining properly. He used the air blower to also blow off leaves and debris of my front porch and entry. Thank you Kyle. I again found the front desk operator to be very helpful to the overall process. I like the fact that I can call Gary every November to blow off the leaves on the gutter included with the purchase. I stopped doing business with American Eagle Roofing over a year ago due poor service/communication... much less helpful/personable than Straight Line.

I recently read the reviews and decided to call Straight Line for an estimate for possible water seepage on the roof. Sharolyn answered the phone whom I found to be very personable and helpful. I was impressed with her helpfulness and digital communication...confirming my appointment via texting which can also be used to have questions/concerns answered by staff.
Matt was able to come to the house within a few days. He inspected the suspected trouble spot on the roof (as indicated by another local roofing company with repair estimate). Matt found some minor seepage (staining on the felt) without indication of any ongoing problem. He then inspected the roof via drone over the roof finding no other issues. He checked the ceiling in the garage without any moisture indicated.
Matt was very informative and personable letting me know we can just keep an eye on the area in question, and glad to return next year for a complimentary roof inspection.
NOTE: I recently canceled a roofing contract from a local roofer due to poor communication/contract status-scheduling issues calling into question their credibility.

As a result of heavy storms in 2023, my roof needed to be replaced. My insurance confirmed that they would cover a replacement. I obtained estimates from three different roofers including Straight Line. I selected Straight Line because they claimed to be very experienced in dealing with insurance companies. If I could go back, I would not have selected this company.
Dealing with insurance - As I stated above, I selected Straight Line in large part due to their claimed experience with insurance companies. My insurance ignored Straight Line for months. No matter how experienced the contractor is with dealing with insurance companies, the insurance companies can ignore them but they can't ignore the insured. My insurance gave me a ridiculous low-ball offer which was 1/3 of the cost to replace the roof. I had to file a complaint with the California Department of Insurance to get my insurance company to agree to the estimated replacement cost. Don't base your selection on the insurance factor.
Quality of work - I selected this contractor based on reviews on Yelp and Google. Regrettably, I referred them to my brother for his roof replacement. My roof was completed before my brother's roof. My brother identified several issue with their work while his roof was being replaced. Based on his experience, he decided to come take a look at my roof. As soon as he walked in the backyard, he looked up at the eaves and pointed out that the sky was visible through a gap they left between the eaves and the gutter. They pride themselves on doing quality control inspections. I doubt that they performed one because if they had they would have identified the issues.
Workmanship Guarantee - They tried to sell me an extended labor warranty. It starts at 5 years. I am guessing that their standard labor warranty is less than 5 years. Do yourself a favor and select a contractor that includes at least a 5 year labor warranty as standard. I would understand them charging for a 5 year labor warranty if they were the lowest estimate. However, their estimate came in at around $ 5,000 more than my second highest estimate by another roofer.
Communication - Horrendous. Once the contract was signed, the communication was nearly nonexistent. They did not communicate that my insurance was not responding to them until I reached out multiple times for a status. Once I complained, they wrote an email apologizing and promising to keep me in the loop. Their internal communication must be as nonexistent as their external communication. Their crew showed up to replace the roof before the subcontractor that was hired by them to tear off the roof. Their communication with me did not improve. Once the insurance agreed to pay the estimated amount, I communicated that information to Straight Line and I had to contact them several times before they gave me an estimated start date for the work.
Follow through - I communicated the issue with the eaves on 5/23/25. They had someone come to inspect on 6/23/25. He identified other issues with the work around the chimney. I appreciate that he was honest but it does not assure me on the quality of work that is not visible for inspection. I have not heard from them since 6/23/25 so i had to reach out again today to get a status.
Do yourself a favor and pick a small company that offers at least a standard 5 year workmanship guarantee. Heavy storms don't take place regularly so you want to make sure the labor warranty is long enough to go through several seasons. Even if they come to fix the visible issues identified so far, I seriously doubt the quality of the work that is not visible.
Straight Line Roofing did an excellent job replacing our roof! From the estimate and presentation by the owner and wonderful staff to the professional tear down, attention to detail, clean up and final product! We were delighted with their skill, professionalism and ability to complete our project in just two and a half days. The price was very fair and the final product is beautiful! It’s such a relief to have the security of a beautiful roof for many years to come. Thank you so much to all the hardworking crews! We highly recommend this roofing company, they are the best!!

I had my roof repaired by JJ and his crew from Straightline last week. I’m very happy with the result. When I had some questions, JJ involved the other personnel in the company and solved the matter very quickly. JJ and the crew was very detailed and efficient, and everything was cleaned each end of the day. The pictures after the job completion sent from office proved the quality of work. I highly recommend JJ with straightline for the roof work.

Outstanding Experience – Expert Team, Great Communication, and Excellent Value
I was incredibly impressed with how well this team worked together. Matt came out promptly and provided a detailed, on-the-spot estimate for roof repairs, adding ventilation, replacing gutters, addressing some rotted fascia, and installing new gutters where needed. His knowledge and professionalism gave me confidence right away—and thanks to his expertise, he likely extended the life of my roof by at least 5, possibly 10 years.
What stood out the most was their communication and coordination. Multiple crews were involved, but everything was seamless. The job was executed on time and exactly as promised.
To top it all off, their pricing was significantly better than the competition. The transparency in their bidding process, combined with Matt’s clear experience, made choosing them an easy decision. And they absolutely delivered. Highly recommended!

This roofing company was recommended to me by a friend. Come to find out Doug and his company have installed several roofs in my neighborhood. His prices are fair and the quality of work is second to none . His crew was done in three days and the only way that I could tell they were there was by the beautiful new roof on my house , the jobsite was spotless! I highly recommend straight line roofing to anyone considering a new roof . Especially if you are quality driven in your decision.
