With one caveat we enjoyed using Stoneridge Decks & Outdoor Living for our project. Being in the Lynchburg area of VA we are the furthest job they have done which might have complicated things a little bit. However, I will say that Steven and Pedro were great to work with. Pedro and his team did an amazing job, and Steven walked us through every step even saving us money as he reworked some of our design elements that we agreed to with the salesman. Speaking of salesman, that’s where our experience keeps me from giving Stoneridge Decks & Outdoor Living a 5 star rating. Reggie was the salesman that came to our house, and he was great at his job, he sold us on the product easy enough, but then once we got the payments set up and gave a downpayment he disappeared altogether. He became unreachable and never once came back to the site like he said he would not even to introduce us to Steven the project manager. We invested a lot of money in this project and for him to ghost us was nerve wracking. Also trying to call Stoneridge directly and get someone on the phone was super difficult. Their phone system is automated, and I ended up talking to and AI bot before I finally got in contact with a real person via email. I don’t if it was because we were so far out of their normal service area or what. I will say though that once Steven got a hold of the project everything was smooth; he over communicated and over delivered on our expectations. Him and the crew that completed the work is the only reason that Stoneridge is still getting a 4 star rating.

On the early communication experience: our process is designed so that once a project enters the build phase, the customer relationship is formally handed off from the sales representative to the project manager. In your case, that handoff simply didn't happen the way it should have, and we're sorry for the frustration that caused. We contacted Stoneridge on Tuesday and were able to schedule an appointment right away. Rob Warren came out on Thursday. We talked through our vision with him about our patio extension and pergola design. He gave us his recommendation on what it would take to complete the project . We sat down with him and reviewed some ideas for our pergola. He worked up an estimate right away and came up with a price we were comfortable with. Along with the price and design, what resonated with us about Stoneridge was Rob's presentation about the company. In addition to the business awards they received was the fact that they worked with veterans and military families in need by donating time and resources.Based on Rob's presentation and guidance we look forward to seeing our completed patio and pergola.
