My 4-year-old son has absolutely loved playing with State Soccer in the Skippy Roos team. His coach, Sebastian, is fantastic with the kids – he makes learning soccer skills so much fun, and the kids really respond well to him. It’s been such a positive experience seeing my son develop confidence and skills each week. It’s also a lovely mid-week activity for both the kids and mums to enjoy. Highly recommend!

James recently attended the Great State Soccer camp during the school holidays, and we couldn’t be more impressed with the experience. At five years old, he was excited but a bit nervous to start, and the coaches immediately made him feel welcome and included. The camp was well-organised, with activities designed to keep the younger kids engaged while also teaching them important soccer skills. James had a fantastic time learning new techniques, improving his coordination, and building confidence on the field. The coaches were incredibly supportive, providing just the right balance of fun and instruction. It was amazing to see how much James progressed over the few days, and he couldn’t stop talking about the new friends he made and how much he loved playing soccer!

Love the program at State Soccer! We’ve been doing the Marrickville training for 1.5years, and my now 4.5year old has really blossomed. Unlike other orgs, State Soccer has a very well structured approach - really good mix of confidence and skills building, good range of boys and girls, obstacles + drills and have loved seeming them graduate to proper games for the last 15 minutes now they are older. The coaches know exactly how to keep kids engaged the community of kids and parents is lovely. Highly recommend!
