This was my first time using a wash and fold service, and Colby was very helpful and nice in explaining the service! Clothes were ready to pick up at my pickup time, and came back clean and neatly folded.

I brought a suit for dry cleaning and a pair of pants to mend on Friday and was able to pick up by Monday. Great customer service, Colby did an amazing job explaining the pricing and what they can do for tailoring. Definitely will come back

This place is great, staff is very nice and the machines are new brand, i would recommend a machine with apple pay to get the quarters or something like that since i dont use cash i gotta withdraw at the bank all the time that i do laundry

Theresa was so wonderful and made my day when I went to pick up my dry cleaning! She remembered my name and my order and was great to chat too as well. Dry clean turnaround time was fast (drop off Monday afternoon, pick up Friday afternoon) and service was friendly. Pricing was fair too ($50 for two formal dresses with an inner lining). We'll be coming back.

I picked this place because it had a lot of great reviews compared to the ones closer to my home. And the experience did not disappoint me at all! Theresa was not only very friendly but she took care of my blouses and pants in such a way that my clothes felt so soft and smooth when I touched them. I will definitely be coming back here at some point.

This laundromat has 14 washing machines. Half of which are large capacity machines that are $10/load. Their standard capacity machines are $4.50/load. This is already over a dollar/load more than the other laundromats in the area ($3 and $3.50 /load respectively)
When I arrived all machines were in use. After 10 minutes of waiting, another customer asked the staff to empty the finished washing machine that the staff were using for their wash and fold service. Thry ignored her and let it sit, clean and finished, in the machine. After another 20 minutes of waiting, almost the entire duration of a wash, they still had not emptied that machine or their other machine that finished in the meantime. When I asked them again to empty the machine they said they were busy. I can understand being busy but they actively ignored their in-person customers and made themselves busier as a result.
The staff reacted aggressively when I asked for them to remove their clean clothes and told me that I "clearly don't want to listen" while I was looking at them and listening to them talk to me while I had stopped speaking TO LISTEN to him. He said they were behind due to extra orders from college students. I can accept being busy and even having a busy season (all of Boston does). But they let their own finished laundry sit for so long and had to be asked mutliple times to remove it, making them busier by clogging machines.
I already didn't like coming here since they are more expensive than their neighbors but after watching them ignore multiple customers for over half an hour and spoken to like I was, I will never be back.
Edit: while I was leaving, the staff cursed me out and threatened me with physical harm if I came back

We are a smaller laundromat, but we offer a range of machine sizes to accommodate different loads, including 20 lb, 30 lb, 45 lb, and 60 lb washers. The 60 lb machines you referenced start at $10.50 and because they are Double the capacity in size of the white machines, they are priced competitively, and in many cases below, comparable large capacity machines at other local laundromats. Our smaller machines are priced accordingly based on their capacity, so customers have the option to choose a machine that best fits their load and budget.
Regarding the machines being used for our Wash & Fold service, we reviewed the security footage from the time of your visit. Based on our review, the cycles were still running when you initially arrived. When the cycles ended, our staff was actively working on folding orders. Once you brought the completed cycle to their attention, they came over and removed the laundry from the machine.
We do prioritize our self service customers and understand that available machines are important, particularly when the laundromat is busy. At the same time, there are occasions when our Wash & Fold production requires the use of machines, and a cycle may need to finish before a machine can be made available. On this particular visit, we were not experiencing a high volume of self service customers, so our staff was using additional machines to keep up with Wash & Fold orders. We recognize, however, that this can be frustrating when you are waiting for an available machine.
We are particularly concerned by your comments regarding the interaction with our staff and your statement that you were threatened after leaving. We expect our team to treat every customer respectfully and professionally, regardless of the circumstances. We are reviewing this aspect of your complaint with our staff because that type of interaction is not consistent with the level of customer service we expect at Star Laundry Club.
